    Works very very closely to the website but things like maps and encounters are inconvient to use and I would not recommend when DMing. Other than that great app and convenient dice rolls

    If you have to play D&D, this is the best way to keep your character legal. It’s a pretty good way to look at it during game as well, although I wish I could get the section that shows my feats, in particular, to go full screen as there are an awful lot of those to scroll through in the quarter screen it gets.

    The whole thing feels like the app was built on the website. You go the website whenever your edit your character and sometimes it doesn’t work. HP doesn’t always total up right when you get into customization with some of the non box races. Sometimes even some of the paid races don’t total up right.

  • Took money and never gave product

    I bought Mordekainen Presents Monsters of the Multiverse months ago and the new Monster Manual and the app will not give me access to them. My old characters have been deleted and inaccessible for months as well. I’ve sent multiple email support requests and request forms with no response or help whatsoever.

    After a few months of not playing my library and all the books I owned have vanished. So have all my characters. Restore purchases doesn’t do anything.

    Dosent give very good explanations of what things are/do as a beginner lots of stuff I looked up but it’s very handy app if you don’t have any of the books

  • Subscription Ripoff

    While the content of the books is excellent, the Beyond approach is a ripoff. I paid money for Digital copies NOT online only access that requires the internet an going through an ad-driven app. But the physical books but don’t waste your timeand money on this online thievery.

    This is very useful for a player with spells like the wizard,sorcerer,etc But also a good character creator to print out but for DMS It can be a little difficult to make homebrew encounters

    It’s pretty apparent that this app follows a profit first approach to its design. You can’t create homebrew items nor sort characters in a campaign with many character sheets, but they make it impossible to miss all the ways they’d like you to spend your money on them. The character sheet itself is designed pretty intuitively, which is great for players, but this app is not very well designed for DMs quite frankly.
