  • Great For Streaming My Music Library

    I’ve been loving this app since downloading it. It gives me a way to interact with my music library that I’ve curated over the years without having too much discovery and not enough of the music I love. One piece of feedback: it would be awesome if the Autoplay setting was able to be toggled from the player as opposed to in the apps settings page.

  • Love, but $150 for lifetime EQ?

    I love Plex for letting finally easily listen to my archived CDs and cassette tapes without having to transfer files to my phone! My biggest wish is that the EQ feature was included in the base app. Would REALLY like to be able to EQ what I’m listening to! But to pay the monthly subscription indefinitely for a single simple feature works certainly add up over the years. And $150 to buy the lifetime pass is awfully steep. Please consider including EQ in the base level account. I’d be forever grateful! Thanks again for making an amazing service.

  • Good music with obvious flaws

    I really like this app, it’s the best music playback app that I’ve found. But it has one rather obvious flaw. To playback music that I’ve downloaded to my phone, it has to be able to reach the plex service and my plex server at home. If I’m on a road trip, in airplane mode or away from home when an internet outage at home happens it stops playing downloaded music. This has me looking for another solution.

    I’ve been looking for a music server for YEARS that was easily installed, allowed me to listen to MY music how and when I wanted, and was mostly free. I’ve gone thru a NUMBER of installs of AM****E that always ended having problems either during the install or the setup or JUST SOMETHING would go wrong. This is also true of other music servers I tried. Just too many to list. I do realize the problem is me but that’s we’re the “easy install” comes in. I FINALLY FOUND IT!! PLEXAMP has been the first and ONLY music server that has worked EXACTLY how i wanted from the first and only install. I’m loving it❤️❤️

    This app has way less issues then the regular Plex app for music. I use to go in and go to my server and the app would crash. All the time. Trying to download music? - Nope, Crash. I recommend this one for music library consumption if it's your thing. JF
