I used to love my Sonos apps and speakers! Now, each time I open the app to play music, there’s a strong possibility of no connection or a dropped connection to my speakers. It’s incredibly frustrating when I want to pause a song but the Sonos app shows that nothing is playing. I miss when these products worked consistently, and I can’t find a solution.

App keeps losing my WiFi settings and products. I successfully reconnect the WiFi and it’ll lose it again within a few seconds or minutes. Speakers sound great but I can’t tweak them or change the configs due to the app.

I have been a Sonos user for 10+ years. I love the hardware. The app is VERY disappointing. Often, it does not engage my system properly from my iPhone. Everything is up to date. At least 25% of the time it does not work properly. Using the Move speaker with bluetooth works 100% of the time. The new CEO has promised to improve the APP. Well?

This app is the worst part of our Sonos System! Half the time it doesn’t even recognize our system! Really frustrating
  • Worst app ever.

Worst app ever. Sonos 1 is better. Devices are dropped if inactive on a network for several days and then are no longer visible to the app requiring a reboot. Trying to add a SONOS ROAM to a network is a joke. It works well with Bluetooth but so does EVERY OTHER SPEAKER. I have 7 Sonos speakers and will never buy another. You owned a market and sabotage your money through hubris.

After years of failures and false promises to rectify this system yet again disappoints. Main playbar had to be factory reset, after completing, the entire system is wiped out. All devices need to be factory reset and start over. Many have hidden and hard to access power plugs turning this into a circus of powering up while holding down buttons. Then the sub is buried (by design) and unlike everything else this thing is telling me to rub my phone up and down the side of it to discover it. Impossible to do without removing half of the entertainment center! Hours into this on my Saturday. You have failed over and over!!!
  • Significant Connection Issues

Very clunky. Never easy to connect to anything and often simply doesn’t connect to Spotify entirely. Makes me wonder if they are intentionally driving traffic to Sonos music for revenue because I don’t experience these issues with other modern apps.
