    Everything was. working great until the automatic update. Now media links from Instagram or Facebook can't be opened with this, they need to be opened from the mobile app.

    The Messenger app for Mac has been a mess, lately. It seems to crash unprompted at least a dozen times per day. This hasn’t always been the case, but I feel like the most recent update that was deployed was -not- ready for the public. It’s unfortunate — I do require a messaging app on my Mac, and it needs to be native — not browser-based. This app crashing so frequently removes the likelihood of me relying on Messenger at all, on any device, in the future.
