  • Inaccurate mapping - No Go

I was hoping this would allow me to plot courses in my SWFL area, but I am finding that the maps are wholly inaccurate adding in places to navigate through that don’t exist and ignoring the actual thruways. If it was accurate I might consider this app but no way I would pay $99 for it.

Had high hopes, started out ok. Really best at tracking you while out. Not good at plotting routes, takes forever, if it does. Also not intuitive. “Tap to set starting point” ok. “Navigate to” why would I want to navigate to my starting point. Ok, maybe just bad language, tap navigate to “Select your starting point” why would I select another starting point?
  • Still thinking about my route 30 minutes later

Whenever this chart actually comes up, I hope it will be out of this world. I mean there are so many ways to go from Fort Lauderdale to Islamorada that I’m sure your servers are burning up. Useless.
  • Doesn’t Show Smaller Rivers or Bayou’s

We’re on Chinquapin Canal in Maurepas, Louisiana and this app doesn’t show any of the bayou’s around here; but only the major rivers.
  • Great Graphics

The complicatrfd graphics in navigation are simplified and made easy for the casual navigator.
  • A great product

I had to give it three stars because it is incomplete. It does not have lakes! Many sailors start their career on lakes and move on to oceans later on.

Extremely disappointed the app continues to lock continues to tell me my subscription is going to expire, but will not allow me to utilize it. Despite the fact that I still have a paid subscription. If you guys are looking for me to renew, I guarantee you this is way for me to look for another app.
  • My goto app when on the ocean

Few improvement requests that would help a lot: 1. Allow way to pause rerouting every time you move a waypoint. Often times, I move the waypoint a couple times or I want to tweak several waypoints at the same time. The auto rerouting feature slows the process and wastes cpu time. 2. Allow way to re-sequence waypoints within a route 3. Eliminate or allow feature selection to only add waypoints with click and hold instead of momentary taps. So many waypoints get erroneously added to a route simply because I’m panning around and it thinks I’m tapping. 4. Allow way to re-sequence saved routes and waypoints in their respective lists. 5. Allow way to click on a leg of a plotted route to get key info such as course, speed, and expected sea conditions including currents, wind speed and direction, and wave heights. Scrolling through route preview is almost useless on a long route. Thanks for considering.
  • this app blows

the app has died. it will not go back to default state. it is stuck in zoom and all I see is water. it will not any searcher any longer. this happened after I upgraded the product to include global charts. I have no way of setting it back. is there any way to alter settings - like a user account. Not a useable product at all. thankfully did not take this on my trip. was using it for planning purposes and it died. It doesn’t even have a way of contacting support - which is why I am leaving this review on the app store. wast of money.
  • Helpful sometimes

Not a bad app but it doesn’t recognize common places and I have to look for locations close to the place I want to go. But is helpful with keeping your boat out of trouble.
