Seems Marvelous

I have had my Hime Band and Pod 5 days and compared to other trackers is is gathering way more data and seems to have better tracking.
I will update again after a month or more.
Very happy I chose to get both, because this will give me the real time data to know what I am doing is helping me sooner than just watching the scale and steps.
I look forward to recommending Hume to my clients, especially those for whom more data will keep them motivated and for the ones seeking to biohack their lifestyle choices. 😇
Not great out of the box

This app fails more than it succeeds, especially with multiple users. Spending more time fixing connectivity issues more than using the product.
Not accurate

Not giving accurate information about the actual results about me. You need to check my other app and use the information because you app doesn’t count accurately.
Not worth the money or subscription.

I’ve had the scale for about two weeks now and I paid for the Plus subscription. I do not have a Hume band as I have an Apple Watch. All of my health scores and data are wrong because it won’t sync with Apple health for active calories burned. I’m not buying another $200 band to wear as well as my Apple Watch. Customer service was of no help. They blamed it on a programming issue but based on various message boards online it seems that this has been an issue for almost a year. This shouldn’t be that hard to figure out. Very disappointing and I wish I read more reviews online sooner.
Broken Experience 😞

I’ve been using the scale and the app for several weeks if not months and I’m disappointed in the amount and time it takes them to fix reported bugs and non-reported bugs. The company needs to have more transparency as to what are known issues What is working and not working. Especially frustrating is the lack of connection Into Apple health for active calories burnt. I purchased the feature where Hume provides a report with a score rating that uses active calories as a key input yet it can’t identify active calories burnt. As it is not working as designed, I would like all of us to get a credit for all the months that this has been broken/reporting incorrect ratings. I also feel you needed a section in your app where you are transparent and report all known issues.
Best Scale Ever

Tried many others and this one is by far the best. I was able to immediately see what areas I needed to work on at the gym - five star!
I like it, but it won’t update activity

My Hume app won’t update the activity from my Apple Watch. So I get a really low score because I literally have 0 cal burned every single day. I have tried all of the troubleshooting and it hasn’t changed anything.

I love my Hume!
Scale is great, band not so much

I love the scale and the measurements, but the band needs improvements. It doesn’t track exercise or calories burned during that exercise. It seems to only track steps. I hoped that if the band can’t do it, the App might get more information from the Apple Health App. I workout for at least 50 minutes a day and my metabolic momentum is -10. I’m apparently aging at 1.7x the normal rate because I’m not active enough 🤣. The scale says that my metabolic age is 13 years less than my actual age, though. The battery also not as good as advertised.
Hume Band: Ambitious idea but product and support not ready

This review is specifically about the Hume Band, not the Hume Body Pod
I really wanted to like the Hume Band. I love the scale so I wanted to be all in with their ecosystem. The concept behind Metabolic Capacity, Momentum, and personalized recovery is compelling, and the hardware itself feels thoughtfully designed. Unfortunately, the product currently lacks the transparency and maturity needed to make those insights actionable.
Product Concerns
Several core issues limit the Band’s usefulness:
• Key metrics are not transparent or actionable. The app frequently cites things like “beneficial activity patterns,” sleep debt, and mental strain as reasons for score changes, but there is no way to view these values or understand how to improve them intentionally.
• Heart rate zones are referenced but not clearly defined. The app provides recommendations for time in Zones 2, 3, and 4, but does not clearly surface the actual BPM ranges, even after weeks of continuous wear.
• Battery life is far below expectations. In real-world use, the Band often lasts only 2 to 4 days and sometimes drains rapidly, which is significantly worse than advertised.
• Apple Health integration is incomplete. Sleep stages such as REM, Deep, and Light are not written to Apple Health. Only asleep and awake states are shared, which limits interoperability with other health and recovery apps and raises questions about sleep transparency.
Support Experience
The support experience made these issues worse. Over a single support thread, I exchanged 26 messages trying to get answers to basic, logical questions about how the Band’s metrics work. Despite that:
• Not one of my questions was clearly answered
• Every response came from a different support associate
• It was clear prior messages were not being reviewed
• Replies often addressed topics I never asked about
When I explicitly requested to speak with a support manager, I was told to simply make myself available Monday through Saturday between 2 and 3 PM EST, with no scheduled time, no confirmation of who would call, and no indication of when or if the call would actually happen. That is not a reasonable escalation process.
Final Thoughts
The Hume Band feels premature. There is clear ambition and potential here, but not enough clarity, documentation, or support maturity to justify relying on it for meaningful health decisions.
If you enjoy experimenting with early-stage health tech and inferring meaning from incomplete metrics, you may find some value. If you are looking for clear guidance, dependable battery life, and transparent integrations, I would recommend waiting until the platform matures.
There is real promise here. It just is not ready yet.
