even when I approve 'sign-in' it loops 'Verify your recently configured two-factor authentication method.' on the web.

This is a great way to manage code, review and accept pull requests on the go. The only thing that’s missing is an easy way to get to all repositories.

I have some open source projects that PRs, mentions, and issues pop up here and there. It’s nice being able to look through them while being away from the computer.
  • It’s good but overrated

The app lacks very essential functionality. I’m giving it 4 stars (I would give it 3.5 if Apple allowed it.) because it has everything that I need personally but a lot of people are saying that it’s read only and I agree. A reason why I think people are giving it a 5 star is bc it looks Soo good in iOS 26 and even before that the gui has very clean and modern. Also I think that all the people that are giving it 5 stars are just meat riding GitHub and will give anything with the GitHub branding on it a 5 star.

Github’s security ecosystem is needlessly byzantine. A byproduct of this is that it’s impossible to use this app if you don’t allow password sign on. You got a QR code, which is impossible to capture.

This has become a tool I use daily to review and merge work and assign AI agents to things that need to get done. It’s effectively an IDE now. Very useful
  • Vibe code machine

I love the feature where i can create an issue and assign it to copilot. Can do it while I’m on the go and it is done by the time I’m in front of my laptop, ready to test. it has changed my life. Excited to see how they integrate a testing environment and browser agents to actually test from a pre defined plan so they can fix any minor issues
  • A vibe coded mess

The shortcuts feature is so buggy. All of my shortcuts were deleted after saving and closing the modal. I can’t even select an icon or color. Not even a professionally inexperienced new grad could make such a mistake. Was it worth rejecting and laying off people? You guys clearly vibe coded this app.
