Stay in touch with your team, triage issues, and even merge, right from the app. We’re making these tasks easy for you to perform, no matter where you work, with a beautifully native experience. You can use GitHub for iOS to: • Browse your latest notifications • Read, react, and reply to Issues and Pull Requests • Review and merge Pull Requests • Organize Issues with labels, assignees, projects, and more • Browse your files and code • Discover new and trending repositories ——— Terms of Service: https://docs.github.com/en/github/site-policy/github-terms-of-service Privacy Policy: https://docs.github.com/en/github/site-policy/github-privacy-statement

  • takes over all links

It steals priority for all links to github.com, so clicking a link always forces you into the app. There's no way to disable this behavior besides uninstalling the app.

I tried to login and all I got was a totally blank page I guess this is normal because I tried on my other mobile devices and they all do the same thing consistently well your website doesn’t do this but I don’t get any notifications from your website

This stupid app won’t let me sign even though I’m using my real account and it’s not working still

The iPhone app UX is not intuitive enough to leverage out of the box. I spend more time on YouTube tutorials than working on the code. I appreciate what it can do and I’m excited for what I can accomplish with this tool, it just feels like either I’m not experienced enough with fingers on the keyboard coding and/or an iterative improvement cycle could make this an even more powerful tool. Thanks!

The best place to review PRs may not be the back of an uber, but it feels like an awesome place to squash and merge. I have to thank the GitHub team for making software collaboration exciting.

Reviewing PRs on phone is a little awkward, but very handy. I only wish it had feature parity to the web
  • No PR across forms

I’m not sure why I would need an app for GitHub, but I thought sure I will give it try when the annoying banner splashed across the top of my Safari window. However, the most basic task, to create a PR from a forked repository back to upstream is not immediately obvious. No thanks.
