  • SCAM APP DO NOT DOWNLOAD

Absolute scam - only downloaded for a $25 reward bonus and it makes you jump through hoops only for the reward bonus to never actually be applied to your account. Ive added it to every browswer on both chrome and safari, I've downloaded the app on my phone, I've done every single thing its asked and STILL NO REWARDS BONUS. Absolute SCAM do not download
  • Blames Apple for the extension not working rather than fixing it.

The extension doesn’t work on Safari (but works in Chrome) and other reviewers are correct, it is not “cash back” - it is “shopping credit” (in their ecosystem). My real beef is, in the 30 years I have been providing support to teams around the world, never have I experienced a team that doesn't follow through to completion and so blatantly blame other companies (eg Apple) for their problems (at least they admit it!) The extension installs in Safari 18.5, is enabled in Settings but the app refuses to acknowledge the extension is installed and they say this is Apple’s problem and for me to deal with it. Seriously? Since when do I have access to their codebase to tell Apple Developers what parts of their code isn’t working? I’ve seen plenty of hot potato but this one is *bad* - it took them 2 months to come to this conclusion and absolutely wouldn’t trust this app around financial transactions as you would never get the support you need for issues you encounter. We haven’t even started talking about how you give up all your privacy and let them observe your web browsing! Use at your own risk!
  • They promised a $25 reward and did not deliver.

This extension is a waste of time. They promised me a $25 reward, I signed up and completed all the steps, and no reward showing in my account. I contacted them for help, and they did not help me, just regurgitated the requirements that I already knew because I did. Waste of time. And they want way too much permission on your computer, seems like they want to stalk all your online movement for a measley cash back reward. This extension is a customer privacy & customer service nightmare.
  • Terrible

Whatever this app is doing in the background causes Safari to stall out or lock up on 85% of shopping sites. Not worth the hassle.
  • Slowed down my computer

Oh my gosh, the way it slowed down my computer. I thought the laptop was broken. I took it to the genius bar and they removed this extension and the speed on my laptop in safari was immediately fixed.
  • Does not work on Safari

Keep getting a blank pop-up when trying to access the extension with an error: Non-persistent background content cannot listen to webRequest events. This extension works great in Chrome. And that would be fine if I wanted to use Chrome, but I don’t. I updated everything, and still the problem persists, with no work-around found.
  • Meh… not that great…

The app extension works fine technically. I don’t know what all these other people are complaining about that couldn’t get it to work right. HOWEVER, it’s pretty rare for a code to actually work. 9 times out of 10 all the codes it cycles through are expired. When you do earn shopping rewards, and finally get to redeem them for a gift card at the CapitalOne Shopping site, there’s nothing worth choosing a gift card for. It’s an incredibly limited selection. It’s all stuff like Yankee Candle or Omaha steaks. No company I would actually use a gift card at. Until they get working codes or better redemption options, I’m just going to uninstall it. My Visa from another bank gives better cash back rewards anyway. This poor product is actually driving me from CapOne to a different financial institution.
  • Unable to add as an extension on Mac Big Sur

BEWARE: THIS IS NOT A CAPITAL ONE COMPANY. I signed up with this app/service/extension because my Capital One (credit card) account said they would give me a $45 credit just for registering. I registered, created the account, installed the extension, following all instructions. When no credit was posted to my account, I emailed Capital One to inquire. They said it should be a credit to my Capital One balance; but that I would have to reach out to the "Capital One SHOPPING" support email to inquire about when the credit would be posted. When I reached out to the email provided for the SHOPPING company, they responded that they are separate companies and that they will not give any credit to my REAL Capital One balance, but only a credit WITHIN their "shopping" dashboard. So I'm immediately deleting and blocking this scam from all my devices!
  • Incredibly Invasive

Regardless of money you might save, if you don’t give it access to absolutely every site you visit, the extension pops up a new tab every time you open a tab, interrupting what you are typing. CapitalOne & Wikibuy - you don’t need access to my banking sites and web email.
