  • Fun game but the bots are making it unplayable

    I enjoy playing this game but sometimes it makes me want to throw my phone at the wall. There have been so many times that the bots win on the first round before I even have the chance to play. I understand having challenging gameplay but this is ridiculous, you would think that they would want the actual people playing to do better than the bots but I guess not. Multiple times I have used all of my energy and not even gotten passed a phase because the bots win in 1 or 2 turns. And I refuse to buy more energy and spend money on it when I probably won’t even make it passed the phase. I’ve also read through 3 years worth of reviews and other people have had this problem. The developer responds saying they’ll listen to the feedback but seeing as its been years and this problem is still happening they obviously don’t care about the player experience very much and are just here to take people’s money.

    Very frustrating if you have to play the same level 8-10 times. Takes the fun out of playing a game. Algorithm of the game is horrible, do not recommend unless you like to loose often.

    It’s rare that I write bad reviews, or reviews at all, for that matter. This game, however, has changed that for me. I downloaded a couple days ago after seeing ad after ad. I was curious, I’ve never played phase 10 before, but I enjoy the Peanuts characters and love a game that will calm my mind when I have downtime. I have been one level 15 for 2 days now and my mind is anything but calm. The computer “players” continue to beat me time after time, no matter how strategic I play my cards. I am almost never able to participate in the mini games because I rarely get black cards. I think in the 2 days that I’ve been stuck on level 15, I’ve “cleared” before the computers twice, yet I never get enough points to move on. Some rounds I don’t even get the chance to play any cards at all because the computers clear before I do. I’m giving this game 1 day and if I’m unable to move on, I’ll be uninstalling. I seriously hate to sit here and sound like a Karen, but goodness gracious, a game is meant to be fun, somewhat challenging, but not completely impossible!

    The map is rigged against anybody who does not want to spend money to buy extra stuff in a game. I cannot get past level 15 on the map since the computer is always getting everything. It’s frustrating.

    The computer player Alaynna is set up to win. The computer players know what cards you have and what cards you need. This game is set up that the only way to win is make in app purchases. This game is not relaxing it’s quite the opposite.

This approach feels like a blatant cash grab and undermines the enjoyment of the game, turning it into a total scam for those who prefer not to spend additional money.

    I’ve been playing the game for a couple days and I quite like it I think it fun. EXCEPT the game is insanely difficult at this point I’m starting to think it’s genuinely impossible which ruins the game
