I’m trying to start using the app and I have a seven day trial, but it keeps on telling me to subscribe so I can’t do anything. I deleted the app twice and try to reinstall it and still nothing. I hit restore purchase nothing. I’m not gonna try to hit subscribe again and pay so I need help.

It is more than worth it to buy a paid money app so that you are not bombarded with credit card adds the whole time. Monarch is great and reasonably priced when you pay annually.

I’ve managed our finances through a mix of platforms and spreadsheets for years, but so far Monarch does it all in one place and better automation and UI!
  • Great idea but not reliable

I think that this app is a fantastic idea and exactly what I had a lot of other people would be looking for in a budgeting app, especially when combining marital finances, but the truth of the matter is that Monarch deletes transactions without your authorization or knowledge, and it has caused us every single month to go over budget and all of the past data and the other months are not accurate because everything just changes in the background the one thing that it advertises to do it just literally cannot do and it’s not good for our finances. I wouldn’t get the app it’s not worth the money. (Yes this has been reported several times. I’ve even gone as far as to have two different services attached to my bank and my husband‘s bank to try and catch any transactions that leave, but both of them have things at the other doesn’t and doesn’t have things at the other die, so nothing is reliable.)
