    I started WalkFit June 1st to help get me moving. I do a short workout every morning. They are just challenging enough to get my blood going. I love those workouts!

    this is the second fitness app i’ve seen that has a non-binary option that defaults to the female track. i’d rather apps like this not have the option at all. it feels so incredibly patronizing. as if all non-binary people were assigned female at birth? if you want people’s sex to tailor workouts to biological factors, then ask that! don’t pretend to be an ally just to automatically misgender someone on the next page. it’s insulting.

    I like what the app said it offered. Then I was trying to navigate it and got hung up on some items. Then if I wanted to continue the monthly price was much higher that other options. I wasn’t allowed to choose other options. I even reached out for assistance but never got anywhere
  • Pretty nice app

    I have been enjoying the app and appreciate the encouragement and challenges. The area that is lacking, for my use case, is I use Apple products, including the My Activity and I log my steps and workouts using that. This app connects to my Apple products, but only pulls in my steps so any workouts I log don’t get relayed in this app. Since those don’t log, at first I was having issues with my workouts filling the requirement for the workout challenges. Now that I know it isn’t pulling my workouts I start a Free Walk, it seems silly to have to log/start my workouts in multiple places. Other than that the app seems fine.

    They present ads that look like it will be a high tech and custom plan. It isn’t even close to that. They don’t give you any real feedback in the app other than if you met your daily goal of steps. It also auto renews at an insane price and doesn’t do that through apple. Be careful not to get scammed by their subscription.

    You can only cancel through the app. You cannot cancel through the App Store. I just learned the hard way and it cost me nearly $70!

    I love this app! It is helping to keep me accountable on my fitness journey. My favorite is Free Walk. So easy to use and tracks my walks around the neighborhood on a map, which is fantastic!
  • Walk Fit is a great tool for weight loss and toning

    The reasons I love the app are: I don’t like going to the gym, I can take my workout with me wherever I go, I can select the intensity, it’s low impact and I still get a great workout. I have bad knees and I can do these workouts without putting too much stress on my knees, but strengthen them at the same time. I was very out of shape and started doing the short workouts and building up my endurance. I love this app! If you combine this with eating smarter, you will lose weight and feel better!

    I signed up because I needed to have some motivation to lose weight and get in shape. I also don’t have a lot of spare time so this worked out great. There is one suggestion that would be nice and that is some type of glossary that you can look up some of the walks to make sure you are doing them right. (I can’t figure out the V walk for the life of me.
