This app is so bad the nap is gone crazy down

This work experience could be amazing both for drivers and customers. As a flex driver I come across struggling with gate codes ( whether not having a gate code or a wrong gate code )and waiting for customers responses . We are not allowed to leave a package if unsafe however it’s hard enough to even try to get ahold of a customer. Worst ,when we do our job and there is a customer who states they did not receive their packages, our ratings go down and it stays on our work dashboard history. Unfair for us when we flex drivers go out and care for packages and try to run to the door and back in 115 degrees out there in storms and rain ,sprinklers and dogs who might bite and so much more ! One customer stated I broke something of their property and it was blamed on me , even through I was innocent . If I would of broke anything the right thing is to pay and apologize for any inconvenience. I would pay for if I was in the customers behalf I would want the same . Unfortunately I was blamed and in my history. I let it go with the thought that maybe working more would show my innocence and show what kind of worker I am . However this does not matter. I never found out what was stated I broke ? Where is the evidence? With cameras something should of showed my innocence…?! The extreme worst is I was held hostage from one customer and all I was giving was 2 days paid for the blocks I had scheduled . When my trama and horrible I went through was horrible and I am terrified however I need a job where I can work with flexible hours, due to the fact that I am a single mother. Blocks being way under paid and mileage high with under pay seems harsh . I sure hope one day these changes to better flex pay and experience would be implemented for fairness to customers and workers. Gas ⛽️ prices moving up and down should be considered as well. Flex workers also do not know when picking up a block where it is and might be for that route . Same pay for going out of town or staying in town . So we do not know if you travel or not ? Apartments and especially with gate should be giving more time for parking, finding , walking and stairs or elevator and more . We have time and it’s hard to complete if we are late . No consideration for that and more . Another unfair issue is flex drivers at times have returned items and it’s our gas to return them , there’s no pay extra for gas or our time. They must be returned by the next morning, however the warehouse states the same night for better customer service. So packages 📦 should be returned asap ! However where is our consideration and add a pay to return asap . So return items are with our time and our pay ?!? Unfair! Under-appreciated! Levels are not good . States we get more for better higher levels ??? We can only receive if we except Amazon card for direct deposit and discount? although their distance are not fair as well. I’m writing as much as I can say during my experience and in hopes this may change and I’ll take off my rating after if change . I’ll do an undate if any changes ….

Support needs a quality check. I get told by support over the phone that I am eligible for compensation and told to reach out to support through email just for support to tell me there’s nothing they can do. They give a pre-typed response and then close the chat right away.

The region is so small I have been on the wait list for months. You are probably not getting taken off the waitlist for the first year. Good luck.

Been on this app for about a week and I don’t even know what a block looks like. Never seen a block available.

Can you all please make it easier for us to accept blocks. Instead of me sitting here all day pressing refresh, can ya’ll please make it like the Spark app or DoorDash app where the offers just pop up and we can accept if we want it? This is cramping my hands and fingers repeatedly pressing the refresh button like a maniac. And it’s definitely giving me arthritis which is not good. PLEASE CHANGE THIS SOON I think we all would appreciate that. And also the navigation is horrible. It tells you to turn or exit at the last minute. It also, does not tell you the name on the exit. It definitely needs to be upgraded almost had me get into wrecks several times. Thank you.

I’ve had an excellent experience using the Amazon Flex app. It’s easy to navigate, the instructions for deliveries are clear, and the routes are well organized. I like the flexibility of choosing my own schedule and the accuracy of the earnings shown before each block. Notifications are quick, and the app works smoothly while driving. Overall, a great way to earn extra income on your own time. Highly recommended!
