They don’t have any offers or blocks in my area despite them advertising for drivers. What a joke!

Bait and switch on pay. For six months I was getting $90 + per route now the only routes they are little me see are 38-66 and a lot of them have just as many packages as the 90+ routes did when it costs me $20 a day in gas that means I’m only making 18 a route

For a company that requires its drivers to rely solely on this app for every aspect of delivering, from booking blocks to navigation to dealing with issues during delivery (an absolute joke), you’d think the developers might actually put some effort into it, but nope. It’s so badly designed and has glitches constantly. It’s clear they basically just use the app for DSP drivers, but leave out many necessary things we need to do the job, even though DSP drivers can access them. Things like being able to open Hub lockers at apartment complexes or basically anywhere other than convenience stores. Then our driver “standing” takes the hit when we can’t deliver it. And if you want to talk to someone in support (also a joke) be prepared to spend a very long time navigating through the system since they changed it recently. Instead of allowing you to easily choose between a call or chat you now have to go through a series of questions and menus and then you can finally reach an AI chatbot, a very badly coded one that just keeps asking the same questions over and over, clearly hoping you’ll give up. And if you’re patient enough to get through to a support agent, either by phone or using the worlds slowest chat service, they are completely useless and will happily lie to you regarding any help they offer on their end. Writing a ticket regarding an issue so you won’t get punished? Lie. Helping mark a package delivered because the terrible app is glitching? Lie. Telling you you’ll get paid for any extra time you deliver because they continue to increase the amount of stops expected and the distance they send you (and will leave you 1 hr away so traveling back is completely unpaid)? Lie. They change the app constantly so the way it works can be different every time you use it, and other than adding house numbers to the map years ago the rest of the changes have done nothing but make it worse and harder to use. Who designed this? Is it a school project for kindergartners? Based on how low the pay for delivery has gotten I doubt they’re paying for decent coders. These days if you don’t cheat by using a bot to get blocks (shifts) it’s hard to get them, and you certainly won’t get well paying ones, so drivers like me who follow the rules are the ones that suffer. They claim they take steps to not allow bots but that’s a lie. Every year or 2 a few drivers using bots get deactivated and they plaster the screen with announcements claiming they’ve solved the problem, but 99%+ of the bot users remain. The GPS works sometimes, but it’s almost always very laggy even in the best circumstances. They keep adding more and more steps to each delivery, more screens to get through. Now the map screen is covered in big icons like bikes which indicate nothing since they pop up everywhere, whether there’s a bike lane or even an area that bikes go or not. It blocks the actual street or delivery location I’m trying to see. Instead of adding so much useless fluff maybe they should just create an app that works. Then again for a company like this who is as cheap as they come and don’t care at all about the people doing the actual work that makes them rich I’m not surprised they don’t even bother building an app that is functional.

  • Most honest review about Amazon flex and the fixes

Not enough pay consider there’s construction blocking access and have to park down the block and it’s -10 degrees out the app highlights a house and the pin says somewhere else Can’t deliver to a loft because the resident doesn’t answer or leave a code and I’m 1 hour away from home and then i have to detour to take the packages back and Amazon is 30 minutes away from my house insufficient pay for inconvenience unfair treatment of the desperate.
  • Pay rates

The app was great when they first started but now it is getting ridiculous with their pay rates. They do not take in account that people have to put gas in their cars or SUV’s and depending on what type of vehicle you have some people have to put 93 in their vehicle, what is $87 or $78 for three hours if your car is eating up that? Then they want to send you an hour away just to do the three hour block. This is ridiculous! The name of the game is to make money and this is Highway robbery and they know people need the money. I already know that they are gonna try to erase this review, but that is not gonna stop me from the petition that I’m going to start. I’m hoping many people will join me in this petition to make a difference because is ridiculous.

Amazon refuses to train their support staff you will not only be driving your own car hundreds of miles a week you will also fight support and their easily disproven nonsense for weeks at a time just to have your standing be correct. Such a garbage company
