"RISE helped me understand how vital sleep truly is. In only a few weeks, I found myself more focused, energetic, and productive at work." *** Becky G. "I could see where sleep debt was causing issues, like temper short, not comprehending things, moving slowly.
I had an epiphany... I'm getting 45min more sleep on average than I was before RISE." UNLOCK BETTER SLEEP Tired of the age-old "eight hours of shut-eye" advice? Go beyond buying a new mattress or pillow and discover the life-changing concept of Sleep Debt. Scientifically proven to be a vital factor in your well-being, a low Sleep Debt can improve your life quality and even your longevity—while high Sleep Debt can cause fatigue and harm your health. RISE calculates your Sleep Debt, helps you understand its impact on your energy, and guides you on how to lower it by improving sleeping habits. Learn about your melatonin window, when to prioritize sleep, and understand the real cost of those late nights—and how you can benefit from naps. PERSONALIZED SLEEP TRACKER Do you find your mind racing when your head hits the pillow? Can’t stop doom-scrolling on your phone? Feeling fatigued all day? Based on your sleep data, circadian rhythm and research, we’ll make recommendations that fit your needs and guide you toward healthier habits. RISE will get you in bed on time, guide you when you can’t sleep, reduce the times you wake up at night, and make you feel less groggy in the morning. DISCOVER YOUR CIRCADIAN RHYTHM We all have an internal brain clock, our circadian rhythm, it signals to our body when to be alert or go into recovery mode. Everyone is unique, from when we perform our best to when we should sleep and wake up. We use advanced algorithms to find your optimal sleep windows. You’ll gain insight into your circadian rhythm and energy levels, helping you plan for a productive day. Sleeping refuels energy, and 83% of RISE users feel more energy in a week or less. AUTOMATICALLY TRACK SLEEP Through our integration with Apple Health, Apple Watch, Fitbit, Oura, and data from other sleep trackers on your phone, like Sleep Cycle and ShutEye, RISE can determine the hours of sleep you get every night, sleep debt, the number of steps you take each day, as well as data from other activities that affect your sleep pattern. WHY WE STARTED RISE We want to help get ahead of the Insufficient Sleep Epidemic (CDC, 2014) we're experiencing, which has been increasing since 1985. This Epidemic has led to elevated mortality rates (Cappuccio, 2010) as well as underperformance in most aspects of life (RAND, 2016). Today, we look at sleep as a luxury. RISE strives to create a world where healthy sleep is a necessity. Subscription pricing & terms RISE offers auto-renewing yearly subscriptions to provide unlimited access to all premium features. There’s also a limited-time free trial of 7 days to explore the premium features for free. However this app collects data on my sleep hours they haven’t got many close or accurate. Nights that I’ve went to bed early and got 8-9 hours of sleep the app says 3 hours. If I am wearing my ring that tracks my sleep this app collects that information and is closer to being correct. One day it started talking about my afternoon dip in energy right in the middle of a 5 mile hike. And that my low energy level was due to my sleep debt. If a5 mile hike is an indicator of low energy I can’t wait for my energy levels to get back to normal.
  • Can’t account for waking up for work…

I saw so many ads for Rise on Instagram that I finally tried it. I don’t understand how they think it could be useful for the average person because there is no way to indicate if you have a firm wake-up time because you have to get up for work. My app continually told me to go to bed *later* and get up later (after the time I already have to be at work). I communicated with their customer service and they said “At the moment, the app isn’t able to fully account for fixed wake times or situations where your schedule can’t be shifted—it’s designed to give guidance based on ideal sleep windows, so unfortunately it can’t adjust your recommendations around every individual constraint.” So….I guess download this app if you live a life of luxury and don’t ever have to get up at a fixed time? Hope this is helpful for the landed gentry of the 1800s!

I absolutely loved this app, except you have to pay a subscription and I feel this app should be used by everyone trying to regulate sleep.

The app was easy to navigate an input data and transferred my current data from track cycles such as heart rate, exercise, etc. into this to give me a sleep time and pattern. I don’t know that I feel it is accurate as I am still super tired and struggle with falling asleep and staying asleep at night.

Helpful for tracking why the heck I’m always tired, but please make it so pulling an all nighter actually registers as missing hours of sleep. I had a sleepless night last night and it didn’t add to my sleep debt. Tried adding a short nap to trigger a recalculation and it’s still not updating.

I use the Autosleep app with my watch but was hoping to find something more detailed to help me determine when I have should have the most energy throughout the day and the best time to wake up. I purchased the Rise 30-day trial. After using it for 1 week I’ve found my energy levels do NOT sync with when I’m supposed to have more energy. I also automatically fall asleep and wake up outside of the timeline it predicts, and I cannot change it to match my real times. Although it gives a lot of information, I find it to be too much information with very little explanation. The watch interface needs a lot of work. It doesn’t do anything. It would have been nice to see some sort of graph to indicate the highs and lows of the day but it only gives a list, which I could more easily read on the phone than my watch. There should be a simple ‘add nap’ option but I can only find that option available the next day, when viewing the total night’s sleep. When I tried to cancel my 30-day trial, the price offering suddenly dropped from $69.99/yr to $34.99/yr. I would have happily paid the $69.99 if the app worked for me, but it seems just like a another money grab that’s being advertised everywhere. Extremely disappointed.
