    These cameras are fabulous, HOWEVER the ads are RIDICULOUS!!! You cannot see your cameras unless you watch at least 60 seconds of ads… which could mean everything as the reason I purchased them was for my disabled family member. It works fine for a day or so but then they want you to pay them to look at your own cameras in a timely manner. I bought the cameras and the SD cards so I would not have another monthly bill… now I have to watch 2 or 3 ads before I can see!!

    As others have said, they make you watch an AD every time you start the app. then there’s advertising on the home screen. they send you constant notices about subscribing to their cloud. My camera’s have SD cards and I don’t cloud record but it keeps bugging me about it. I have no choice but to use this app to access my camera. Not recommend.

    New updates force multiple ads, constant pressure to subscribe, poor customer service. Formerly great product, now scammy and dishonest (we shouldn’t be subjected to new TOS when we purchased these cameras with different expectations years ago). Update: so to clarify, you’re offering me an “exclusive“ discount (the same one you’ve offered to every other poor review) to get a reduced fee to use a product that was free when I purchased it? A product that is essentially worthless as a security system without agreeing to this extortion? Yeah, no thanks. If I’m going to pay anyone for this service it will be a company that is upfront about their ToS.

    Why is anyone still on this? It’s trash. I switched to Tapo and have never been happier. I only have Kami to monitor the outhouse because that’s the only thing it’s good for now. They keep finding new ways to destroy this service so I’m guessing they’re doing this on purpose. The latest update forces you to watch a 5 second ad before you can watch a 1 second motion alert. They’re going to eventually just make this a pay only service.

    I’ve used these cameras for years. They used to work just fine for my needs. However, the latest updates to having pop up ads with audio before the app opens, pop up ads while navigating in the app, and stationary ads on every part of the app is uncalled for. If there’s a security issue and I need to see the cameras quickly, having to wait for an ad of some mobile game or other nonsense is unacceptable. I’m looking into other options for new cameras now.

    Newest update shows even more ads before letting me look at my cameras. Not good at all and it must be a sign that I need to switch providers. Disappointing as I’ve been a Kami and YI camera user for about 7 years.

    UPDATE: non-stop pop ups... even after you pay them... it's not enough, you get stupid AI pop-ups every time you look at a camera!!! KAMI has become a trash non-stop money grab. Screw these people, buy a different camera option!!!! ---- If you recently bought this product, return it now and find another option. I've been a user for over 5 years now with a dozen cameras. The app now has so many ads, popups, and spammy marketing notifications, it's absolutely unbearable! Save yourself the trouble and return you camera!!!

    Cameras and service used to be very good, now it has turned into Garbage. Might as well throw these away and go with another service. They make you watch a video before seeing if someone is actually breaking into your property. If you buy the subscription it never works properly it is mainly a rip off, they might as well gone out of business. Used to be so good till I can’t even believe they have become such Garbage
