    The latest update 5.7.00 bricked all my floodlight cams. The cameras are showing online but does not play any live feeds.

    App very tricky to understand and a lot going on all over the place. Not laymen proof especially with all the way to view add share setup. Basically managing a device. And I’m not computer illiterate I have an A+ And N+

  • Completely flawed

    I accidentally held down both buttons on my L 60 and everything was reset. I lost my floor mappings, my schedules, I lost everything. The backups didn’t work! Now I’m starting from scratch and I’m constantly encountering issues with the new app! It got so bad I deleted it and reinstalled the original, the original works fine! This new app is FLAWED! Based on my experience with this flawed replacement for a working app, I give it one star only because I can’t give it zero!

    I decided to try Eufy cameras and their ecosystem behind it to leave the ring monthly/yearly subscription they have. I decided to use a PoE system to have it wired in case if my wifi system is down, I can check out my cameras connected to my tv. The cameras are great, track well, have awesome features and that’s essentially where the pros stop. This app is terrible and makes the ring system feel years ahead of it. The ring is easier to use and navigate and upon having a notification clicked on, it takes you to the ring live view. What I don’t like about the Eufy app in contrast is, when you click on a notification, it takes you to the saved footage of said notification vs the live view of said camera. It takes about 10 seconds to open up the footage to view and when you’re trying to view a live camera, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t work claiming a communication error. On top of that, when you launch the app and it shows camera thumbnails to view, the Home Screen thumbnails don’t refresh to the current frame until you click on it independently. This app does not allow you to mute notifications from plugged in cameras like it lets me to my front door lock and this is another inconvenience lack of feature. If my neighbor has landscapers doing his front yard for 6 hours at a time, I’ll be subject to get pinged every minute that there’s someone outside. Areas for the Eufy to work on: 1. Refresh all camera thumbnails upon app launch 2. Allow plugged in cameras to the NVR to mute notifications 3. Allow users to change camera positions so my doorbell camera is the first to populate then other cameras in the app 4. Build a reliable app connection so it opens up quicker to see who or what caused the ping, not after they’re gone 20 seconds later 5. Allow a tap on notification to go to that live camera vs saved footage from nvr

    I only have a single security camera for the front porch. Honestly the whole system works really well. I just wish I could turn off notifications for known faces. My phone gets constant notifications when I’m hanging out on my porch, which is super annoying. I only want to know when a stranger is detected.

  • Restore Change WiFi configuration

    Recent versions have removed the ability to change the WiFi network on an existing camera that needs to be moved to a different network. I had to remove and readd it as a new camera which is a workflow that doesn’t make sense.

  • A bit too slow

    Sometimes is a bit too slow to establish the connection with the camera. My camera 2 detects pets very well, however camera 1, which is farther, doesn’t.

  • Can’t turn on

    I did an app update on my phone and now when I turn a camera off remotely (sometimes I do that to save battery) I can’t turn it back on, I click on the camera to open it and absolutely nothing happens….. please fix this cause I travel sometimes and I want it be able to turn them on and off without issues.

  • Ruined the Map Feature for RoboVac

    Ever since this app came around and made the other individual apps obsolete, I’ve had nonstop issues creating, saving and utilizing a map for my X8 RoboVac. Constant headaches, especially since I just want to use a Room cleaning. As of this latest update I cannot even get my saved map to load, even though it shows up in the Manage Maps section. Therefore I cannot initiate a Room cleaning and my RoboVac is useless. Really hoping for a fix/update of some sort, otherwise I might have to go with another brand. I posted in a forum elsewhere and a LOT of other users are having this exact issue!
