The AI could definitely be implemented better to help with macros, the meal planning section seems buggy as well. Great app and would recommend
  • Amazing! But slightly disappointing / EDITED

This is the meal prep app I have been searching for, FOR YEARS!! I love the abundance of recipes, the meal planning portion, and pantry tracker. I also love that I can set my dietary preferences. Even after being laid off a month ago, there was no doubt in my mind after the free trial that I would keep the subscription. However, the AI meal planner has altogether stopped working and is endlessly loading. I've tried all the troubleshooting tricks. The app is also glitching when I create a meal planning and then try to sync it to my shopping list. My grocery trips have also taken a day or more to load into the app. All of these problems were non-existent during the free trial, so I feel a little bait and switched (although I'm sure this isn't actually on purpose). Overall, I would love a text-based LLM or just an algorithm based on preference when it comes to planning for the week! I see the nutrition is still in beta, but a feature where it can connect to nutrition apps or even Apple's native health app would be amazing as well :) EDIT 11/22: I didn't end up reaching out because I saw the developer's response too late—plus, the issue is fixed! I think the only features I'd still love to see are the written AI meal planner and integrations with ios Shortcuts for adding to pantry, shopping list, etc.
  • Full blown bugged

This app doesn’t work anymore been using it for a long time and it is just full of bugs. I unsynced the stores because they kept disconnecting, so not I add things from the list to the pantry manually and it doesn’t record the item going it and continues to ask me to add the items to pantry. These developers need to fix this.
  • Amazing if it worked

This app would save me so much time if it would actually pull in what I put in my pantry to the rest of the app. I have over 100 items in my pantry that I listed in the app, but the rest of the futures can’t seem to reference those items. Will change my review if we get this fixed!

I have almost everything in one place. I love the recipes and different cuisines from different cultures. There is a few things that could make this app better and that’s allow the user to add surrounding grocery stores within a 25 mile radius to their list. Not everyone shops at one store. I spend money at Aldi’s, Dierbergs, Super Center Walmart and Farms Market sometimes. It would take the real guess work out of how much I’m actually spending each week, month and year. It would also be more accurate. The other thing that would make this app exceed my expectations is if the user could download a grocery list without duplicates and maybe a check mark box to help the shopper check off what they have purchased each time they go shopping for groceries. Some people shop here and there to replenish some foods. One last thing the creator of the app could add on to this app and that is graph bars to show the difference in spending from month to month. Other than that I really love this app a lot and it is exceptional but could be a little bit better. This is an app I will be keeping on each of my devices forever!!!!! Overall, I’m very pleased for the most part with this app. I’m loving it❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for creating this app now I can delete the ones I have and replace it with just one. Thank you again.

Finally an app that I will actually want to pay for. This has opened a huge variety of recipes that I can use with items I already have. I go shopping weekly & I only get items I need. This app has helped me shop better, prepare new meals my family love & budget.
  • Too many mistakes

I had such high hopes. But this app scans things wildly incorrectly, and when it gets them right, categorizes them oddly. Did you know raw stew beef is a ready to eat snack? Yeah. No. Then you try the recipes and under “cook now”it lists things you not only do not have in your pantry but never will. So you won’t be cooking them tonight. Frustrating and a total waste if $60. But they mean well. There’s a good idea in there. But not for budget shoppers.
  • Charged immediately for “free trial”

I tried to do the 7 day trial but instead it charged me immediately. And even though I have unwillingly paid for the full year of Pro I am getting constant pop ups to try the 7day trial. Would have been nice to try the 7day trial before committing to a year long purchase. So far I’m not loving the apps features either. Might as well use what Safeway app provides for free.
  • The app could be great, but

The app features and idea is amazing. I love everything about it, however you can’t use it for more than a minute before it crashes on you and you have to force close the app, then bring it back up to try using it again. It’s really frustrating when trying to use the shopping list feature, or really any of the features. I also wish it didn’t just include a % removal option, but an item amount option.
