    Hi, I like getting my news from you guys but it’s kind of overwhelming right now especially with the state of the world. Is there a way you guys can make a home page before you get to stop Headlines that gives you like the top ten most important things going on in the world so it’s earlier to keep informed without feeling like you’re drowning? That would be very helpful, thank you

    I don’t get past the interest selections. Such odd choices and repetitive choices. How is Caitlyn Clark a category of interest and there is no category on policy or law? Nah. Sensational categories too as in trump is a category as is the governor of cali. Weird. Those are individuals that might be in news stories but not categories of news. Ugh.

  • Solid concept, flaws in execution

    I like the concept, but a few key issues make this app frustrating to use. First, you can’t copy or paste text from articles—so if I want to share something, I have to resort to sending a screenshot. Second—and this is the deal breaker—there’s a limit on how many sources you can ignore or exclude. Why not let users simply opt IN to the sources they trust? I don’t expect these limitations to change anytime soon, so unfortunately, I’ll be looking for alternatives.

    It keeps giving me stories that I have said I don’t want. I don’t want stories about sports or sports figures, who are allegedly celebrities but not really. I don’t want to hear about other alleged celebrities who aren’t actually. I don’t want trending to even be a topic, appearing on my feed, because 99% of it is trash. It doesn’t seem worth it for free, much less to pay for it. It doesn’t explain itself at all well, on how to use it. I keep clicking, hoping for more explanations or clearer words, but no….

    I was excited because this is a really good idea. But the developers found a way to hide bias within its function — making this more dangerous than any single outlet. They “shadow ban” media the US government doesn’t agree with by only sampling topics the government will not resist too much. Meanwhile, important, world changing events are ignored. But to see the app, not a lot is happening now with ICE, LA, immigration, or military parades. This is a sham and anyone who works here or supports this app is an enemy of freedom, democracy, free speech, and free press.

    Gives all left leaning outlets “high-factuality” ratings no matter what. Even the unknown ones, and the ones like ABC and CNN who have been caught lying multiple times and sued for defamation by multiple people.

  • Only good with subscription now

    Had to cancel this subscription due to rising costs everywhere else but stuck with Free cause I liked the app. Now the app is unusable with the amount of uncloseable ads that present themselves on any linked news site. What’s inexplicable is this only occurs on Ground News app itself, the ad closing issue isn’t reproducible using a mobile browser even with the sites own ads that I had issue with via Ground News app. They close just fine there. Not sure what the issue is suddenly but I can’t use the app after reading any articles so it’s getting uninstalled.
