  • Works great, poor naming choice though

Still the same great trouble-free functionality that the old Remote Desktop app offered, except now it’s far harder to search for documentation.
  • No reason to have a PC!

Work uses PC’s, and this app allows me to hop onto a users computer and makes any changes that are needed!

  • Thin, Green Line at Bottom of RDP Sessions

Has anyone else noticed a very thin, but bright and noticeable green line/bar at the bottom of RDP sessions using this application? It doesn’t seem to interfere with anything, but it is awfully annoying to see on a constant bases.
  • Non-Functional on Intel Mac’s

Works on M-chip Macs, but not functional on Intel based Mac’s. Starts to work, brings up the screen, and soon locks up. You can’t quit the app, it is dead. You must to go finder and kill it from the finder. Microsoft says call Apple, Apple says call Microsoft.

    不知道新版解决问题了没有
  • It works, but UI is unnecessarily complicated.

The old Remote Desktop, enter hostname was much better. I don’t need a new menu and giant saved PCs icons.
  • Microphone Not Working

Would have loved to use my Mac as my AVD host machine but the microphone isn’t working. Even if the microphone was already added in my device (both built-in Mac and an external), it doesn’t appear inside the AVD. The microphone is grayed out and it requires me to use my phone separately to talk to a meeting.

As someone who works regularly in both Windows and MacOS environments, i find it increasingly hard to get this app to work the way alternative applications can for the same purpose. Now that Microsoft is FORCING our hands with 11 and 24h2, you have crippled RDP in so many ways: random disconnects, random black screens that cannot be resolved unless the remote computer is rebooted, graphics issues between the MAC side and the windows side... the list goes on and on. this isn't isolated to one particular Mac Desktop or Windows desktop either; it happens regardless of which combination of Mac and Windows remote endpoint i'm using. I've migrated over to Jump because it just WORKS... I'd love to use Windows App if they could make it work the way it should, and doesn't constantly have weird glitches that cannot be resolved. Microsoft really needs to take a page out of what the Mac developers are doing for your apps, because they're doing something right. Office apps? better on Mac. Remote apps? better on Mac. I don't get it at this point. I'm giving 3 stars because your app works... most of the time. It needs serious improvements in both reliability and quality if you're going to stay competitive in this market.
