  • Beautiful Visualization, but…

The presentation is great (although I like Apple Weather equally), but the 10-day temperature forecasts are often significantly different than the NWS, and in my experience less accurate. It should be possible to make them the same as the NWS by selecting the model used by the NWS in Settings, but changing the model has no effect. The only model used where I am in California is HRRR.

I use this app all the time. It’s reliable, accurate, excellent graphics, no clutter, as well as all the weather info I need. Many features and settings. The pull up menu that has daily/hourly summary and history of various weather metrics, is very useful. Love this app.

  • Indicated wind direction

Great app one thing is a little confusing. When you zoom in on a location the wind indication points to where the wind is going to. All others weather service show wind as where it’s coming from. Example wind 180@20 the wind arrow in the app would point north, or down wind. When you expand out it shows the flow of the wind this make sense. Now that I know it’s find but for the first few times using the app I was reading the wind direction backwards.

Not very good. Typically looking out the window is just as good.

Better to trust your local weather information than this application because it’s not as good as it used to be.
  • Great coverage
