  • Syncing issues :-(

While I love my Nordictrack elliptical and iFit, the app is no longer syncing with my iPhone’s Apple Health or Fitness apps over the last ~2 weeks. Please fix this. (Update 1/09/26 - still not working…)
  • ANNOYING

This is supposed to track and login your workouts, but I’ve had had several workouts that have been untracked and show on my app that I did nothing. They need to fix this issue because it’s very annoying especially when you want to track what you’ve done for the day.
  • Do Better iFIT

This used to be a great app. But now, you just can’t get through a workout without the app throwing an error. Today, the app has errored and crashed 5 times in one workout. I finally gave up. Surely you can do better iFIT. What a disappointment you are.

This app is absolute garbage after the recent update. The display metrics are a mess- can’t see half of the data I previously could without covering half of the screen with drop down menus. And now for some reason I can’t see real time RPMs at all. Only average. The functionality of target RPMs is completely gone, since you can no longer see actual and goal at the same time (or at all). Half of time I can’t even get the resistance controls to show up. If this isn’t fixed before my subscription renewal, I’ll be canceling and switching to a competitor for something that’s actually worth using.
  • Generally good, lacking some functionality.

Generally this app is good. I have used it to train for 5Ks, 10Ks and a Half Ironman with a treadmill, bike and rower. Lots of workout options and integrates with most heart rate monitors and auto-adjust is fairly good. There are two areas that would significantly improve the app. 1) Add the auto adjust feature to the phone version. Online, it says this is an intentional restriction, which doesn’t really make sense. First off phone screens are significantly bigger than they used to be so the interface wouldn’t clutter it up too much plus, you don’t have to use the interface. most people who are exercising do not actually use the screen to make adjustments to their incline and slope, but use the physical buttons on the machine instead because it is annoying to mess with a smart screen while your hands are sweaty from running cycling or rowing. It’s really frustrating having to bring in a tablet and a phone when trying to do something like do it work out listen to music, maybe watch a movie or something on a longer run or longer ride all because the developers only restricted a feature for a iPhone. Let your users decide if they want it, one of the cardinal rules of app development is let your users tell you what they want, not the other way around. Lastly, the AI agent isn’t very good. All it does is randomly pluck workout workouts from the library and recommend it to the user. A significant improvement would be for the AI agent to ask the user what kind of equipment they have access to the frequency which they would like to work out and then their overall workout goals, and then create a balanced approach for somebody to achieve those goals. Example, if somebody said they wanted to be a 5K runner, but they also had access to a rower or a bike, propose a balance workout regimen of 3 to 4 runs a week based off of one of the training plans inside the app with strength, yoga, roller or cycling workout workouts are mixed to provide balance for the user.

I was able to row in my 5th pregnancy all the way up to my 3rd trimester. I have had my baby boy healthy and strong. I started back on the rower when I was in my 4 month post baby I’m still going strong ! My baby boy is 15 months now. through that time I have been training for my first half marathon on my rower. The only thing I don’t like is that near the end of the program it times out and goes to the 10 min cool down.

I’ve never been so excited to run on a treadmill until I used this. So many great instructors and classes. I love being able to sort them and find exactly what I’m looking for. I have both the NordicTrack treadmill and bike and they work great with the app. I’ve been doing this app for about 5 years and I love it.

  • Won’t sync to apple health

This app has had numerous problems syncing with Apple health. It works for a while and then decides it doesn’t want to anymore. I’ve tried everything - redownloading the app. Severing the connection and then establishing it multiple times and in multiple different ways. I just tried to submit a support ticket through the app and that won’t even work. I am disappointed and frustrated. You buy an expensive workout machine and this is the support you get? Pass on this app.

The app records work outs half the time if your lucky in the Health App. Each update breaks something else. Feedback in the app doesn’t work. Tech Support available M/F during normal business hours. Not helpful then/ Im working my job - not working out on the equipment. And don’t think about leaving a message. I was never responded back to. I can’t wait to cancel, no way Im renewing.
