I was a Wunderlist user and got transferred over to To Do when the acquisition occurred. The To Do tool transition did not cause any problems, and I also enjoy using the To Do tool. Thanks Microsoft!
  • Make it work with Outlook!

I’ve always said M$ engineers must not use M$ products. This one is very close to perfection, but you guys can’t make this work with other apps like Outlook? Flagging an email creates a link to that email in To-Do, but it always opens in the cloud Outlook app. It’s been this way for years. So close. Do better!
  • Still one of the best options for teams that need to manage tasks across platforms.

If you need to manage regular tasks with teams of people who are on different operating systems, this is still one of the easiest options to get started with.
  • Weaknesses in working together with the cloud planner app

I'm using planner.could.microsoft together with the local app. Unfortunately, I dont see all the plans I have in the cloud in the local app. Also you conflate the terminology "lists" and "plans". In the local app you can create a new 'list', which is a 'private plan' in the cloud. That is very confusing. All the 'private plans' in the cloud don't show up in the app at all. Instead, I can only see the tasks from planner in a long list in the 'assigned to me' section. There is no way to filter by which plan. Super frustrating and hard to manage in To Do. Please work more closely with the planner team!

The desktop version of To Do still only opens the web version of emails and NOT the desktop version.

I love To Do. I use it for both work and home to manage my chores and projects, big and small. I do wish that you could duplicate individual tasks (unless there is a way to do that which I have not found).
