    You can’t do anything without opening up your wallet in this game. Do you want to progress and get more valor points? Well, the easiest way to do that and get multi millions is to throw your army at the brick wall. That is epic monsters. All of your army will perish. But you can just revive them right? Correct, but it requires paid currency. You might be able to get like good action daily from your clan if it’s an active clan, because of crypts. Oh, and in seven days, the army will be deleted. Nothing in this game is instantaneous, in fact, it’s the opposite. You’ll be waiting 30 days to upgrade your capitol or you’ll be waiting an hour just to train some guardsmen. It’s all speed up with this, it’s all artificial delay that, even for building. There are multiple high stakes classes that are just locked behind arbitrary buildings, that you have to get five other buildings to some arbitrary level just to upgrade it. it’s not pay to play, it’s pay for basic features addictive that will have attempted to spend even more hundreds for nothing. If you’re judging it from my standpoint of separating users from your money, I’m sure it’s doing its purpose. But if you are judging it from the point of an actual standalone game without spending any money, it’s at 0/05 stars. Horrible, locks basic features such as renewing army behind paid currency that is collected at such a low rate, even through clans. This game has potential if they stopped such purposeful, money extracting design, I like the soundtrack, the visuals are nice. The game play loop is not. Do not expect to get anywhere without opening your wallet. And even then you have to be frugal and find the best expected value.

    I just want to play the game from the ad. I don’t care about upgrading farmhouses or whatever. This could’ve been a good game if it was just what was in the ad.

    At the beginning it's neat, but the bottom drops out at level 10. Everything takes 10 screens and a microtransaction to build even the dumbest thing.

    This game will consume your time if not money and just ask yourself is it really worth it before continuing this game. The graphics are nice. I didn’t like that I had to pay actual money to change my name that was given as a dude to my preference as a female. This game is definitely pay to play and if you’re not careful you’ll spend a lot of money just to protect your city from other clans or players. I most definitely did not like how the game continuously allowed me to revive troops with payed in game currency and not offering free and earned in game currency tor revive troops. You have a maximum of 6 days to revive the troops before they become deleted.

    As with all games in this genre, TC is P2W but this one might be the worst of them all. Very aggressive, predatory, and addicting tactics to encourage spending. Some things seem like a decent deal at first, five dollars here and there, but very quickly escalate. Everything is paywalled unless you’re ok with progressing very slowly (and being constantly reminded of it by players dominating you). $100 here and there almost feels like it gets you nowhere. If you’re a whale and like to spend enormous amount of money to dominate (as in thousands), then by all means, download this game and have a good time. If you only like to spend a little here and there, this game will frustrate you to no end.

    In a world dominated by pay to win but you could spend your money on this game does not require you or pit you against the wall to a grueling slow pace to where you wanna pull out your wallet or quit the game altogether stories decent gameplay is overall what it shows in the ads and more but in a very good way, I’m not saying this game is for everyone, but definitely worth a look.
