  • Extremely Buggy App

Don’t waste your time with this app. It is extremely buggy! I’m disabled and it’s easier for me to watch tv on my 2023 iPad Pro (M2 chip) connected to my chair but this app is the worst of all of them, it is very buggy and crashes - Especially if you want to stream dvr titles. I always get the error message that it can’t be played. And that’s frustrating!
  • Repetitive ads are brutal

I love having access to HGTV, History Channel, Hallmark, etc. But recently, repetitive, exaggerated casino game ads are pushing me to the edge.
  • The ads

I like having the app because it is cheaper than cable, but I am growing weary of the propaganda ads being shown. I affiliate with no party system but the ads from the current state of affairs are overwhelming and biased.

Since requiring the update, the older version stopped working which sucks because it the latest version that works on the phone. Please look at this and allow access for us to be successful.
  • Poor Christmas selection

I love Philo, the only draw back is the Christmas movies. We love to watch the old movies we grew up on, we are 50+. Most of those movies are in other streaming services. Wish Philo would get them.
  • Too many bugs and glitches. Leaving asap

When I fast forward a saved episode on my tv, Philo freezes on my fire-stick. It won’t go back or forward. The only way to exit is to restart my fire stick. I’ve been a customer for 4 years and I think this is my sign to leave and find better with less bugs and better content. PS. The app is updated and my internet connection is strong.

For the money, I don’t think you can find a better deal with the variety of stations. We pare this with an antenna for local stations and we are very happy with our choices. I especially love the ability to ‘save’ movies and shows for later viewing. I get to save my favorite Christmas movies so I can watch them year round. It makes me happy!

I like Philo but I will not be keeping my subscription because any amount over $25 should not have ads
