  • No longer feels like a Mac app

The new Mac Catalyst version is workflow breaking for me. Main issues for me are: 1. No pretty-printing of JSON responses. This makes the long single-line responses I work with daily impossible to read easily. 2. Cannot move requests between folders. Drag and drop, edit, and right clicking show no way to reorganize existing requests. 3. Removing the third column means I have lots of wasted space both when viewing saved requests and while running requests. 4. Request sizes keep coming back as -1 byte. HTTP Bot with the Pro unlock was my daily driver, but the productivity losses are not sustainable for me.

Initially works great and soon becomes slow and almost takes 2-3GB of data just for basic requests, and no option clean, except deleting entire app!
  • UPDATE: Perfect

NEW REVIEW: It just works. I had a newbie problem of my own and sent a https request to the test server which only had http. OLD REVIEW: What use is a HTTP request application if it does not show you the returned object right away. I’m always getting response 200 OK and a blank screen when sending a get request to my own working API.
  • Not fully functional

This app doesn’t even provide you the ability to add a body to your HTTP requests. That seems like a very basic requirement for an app like this.
  • Very handy

You may not need it often, but the moment you need to make API calls while out shopping, you’ll be very glad you’ve got this app.
  • Need Postman on the go?

Probably the best option on mobile for a REST client. One of the better features is the option to import your collection too and has been a good time-saver.
  • The worst app on the App Store

Amongst all the apps that exist on the App Store, HTTPBot is the worst of them all. It looks deceptively beautiful on the outside. It looks like precisely what you need. But on the inside, it is the largest mess that you could ever imagine. The integration with Shortcuts doesn’t work at all. Variables don’t work at all. You will waste hours of frustration on this app and will have nothing at all to show for it. Absolutely nothing whatsoever is documented. The dev ignores every email he is sent. I’m surprised Apple hasn’t delisted it yet.
  • Getting better....
