Description

Microsoft Planner requires an eligible Office 365 work or school subscription. This app does not support Office 365 personal accounts (for example: [email protected] or [email protected]). If you are not sure about your company’s subscription or the services you have access to, please contact your IT department. Planner provides a simple, visual way to organize teamwork. Planner makes it easy for your team to create new plans, organize and assign tasks, share files, chat about what you’re working on, and get updates on progress. -- Organize work visually -- Each plan has its own board, where you can organize tasks into buckets. You can categorize tasks based on their status or on whom they’re assigned to. To update the status or change assignments, just drag and drop tasks between columns. -- Visibility -- The My Tasks view provides a comprehensive list of all your tasks and their status across all your plans. When working together on a plan, team members always know who is working on what. -- Collaborate -- Built for Office 365, Planner lets you work together on the same tasks, attach captured photos directly to them, and even have conversations around tasks without switching between apps. With Planner, all your team’s discussions and deliverables stay with the plan and don’t get locked away across disparate applications. -- Works across devices -- Planner works across all your devices. And with Planner, everyone is always on the same page. Continue conversations and updates tasks while on-the-go or at your desk. If you choose to take a photo to attach to a Planner task, the app will request permission to access your Camera app.

Just a kanban board. That’s it. And a buggy one.

Just what I needed being on the go and connecting with my projects at my fingertips

Please add the function to duplicate buckets within same plan.

It would be much more satisfying to hear a bell chime when you check off a task as complete. Otherwise works ok and handy to sync between devices.
  • Takes too long to load

What I really want this app to do is to be a quick resource I can open on my phone. That’s not at all what it is. It takes forever to load - just to receive information. Then if I actually want to use it as my task list on the go, it’s too unreliable for the same reason. Loading and updating takes too long and you’re never clear when you’re looking at updated data.
  • Un-Usable. Does not work with paid plans

We were excited to roll out Planner at our company instead of a 3rd party system like clickup/asana/monday etc. It’s wonderful on the web version and lives within our Microsoft environment. However, we paid for the premium planner on the web. Turns on all those neat features we get on the web are not available in this app. What’s worse, this app says “go use planner on the web to use these features”, but then planner on the web says “this app is no longer supported, use the iPad app”. Friggin Microsoft cuttin corners
  • Even if there’s nothing else, still no.

From the windows 8 themes and styling, the buggy interface, terrible optimisation for ipads (was this even tested on one?), it’s a big old “meh”. Avoid.
  • Could be so much better!

This app could be so much better. Planner is a great platform for project management but the app feels like you’re going back in time. This app doesn’t get the as much of an update as all of M365 app and I hate for that for them.
  • Not the same as the office 365 Planner
