  • Great Product But Could Be Improved

I love this product because my husband and I can share lists and whomever shops knows exactly what to get. The functionality could be improved to allow pictures to help with very long and specific names of products.

Used to be great iPhone but NOW Why does the Phone App Constantly shut down immediately after I open it 2 ? Would be 5 star otherwise. Can’t figure it out and of course no live in person service with Microsoft. Unless I’m just overlooking things?? The app works great on laptop b
  • Not a priority for MS

I’m an Outlook desktop user at work. We have enterprise 365 and web access, but I prefer using the desktop interface and Tasks function, which integrates nicely with emails, calendar appointments, and Teams. I also use the phone-based Outlook app, which is seamless for mail and calendar, with its simple widgets for those functions. To-Do is next to useless as a phone-based companion to all of that. It kinda-sorta captures task items as I’ve organized them in Tasks, but not really. It doesn’t help much if I’m attempting to plan my day from my phone the same way I would from my desktop. Well integrated, phone-based task organization seems like low priority for MS.

I use this app more and more for my to do and shopping list. Two that would be nice (or more discoverable are: 1) Search within items so they could be reused; 2) Ability to add photos to items, frequently I’m tasked with getting item in photo. Thus, a 4 star rating.
  • Sync problems

The biggest problem with this app is that you have to use a Microsoft account and can’t use other email services like Gmail. The reason it’s a problem is that I share a grocery list with my wife but now that her Hotmail account is full she can’t sync the list with me. This was great for the holidays when she came home from the store and didn’t get anything I added to the list because they weren’t showing on her list.

  • Need to be able to reorder the daily tasks more easily

By now this app is nearly perfect. Great intuitive repeating task capabilities, separate lists by topic, can be delegated to family, etc. But the difficulty of sorting the task order in My Day, is surprising. It should just be a drag and drop.
  • Out of sync with the web outlook

This is my favorite task/to do list, except for one major drawback. It will keep in sync with my Outlook online, using Chromebook, for a while, but then they get out of sync and it’s impossible to get them back in sync again. Have to remove And sign out and sign in on the web and then it re-syncs from the app. I spend more time keeping them in sync than updating the tasks.
