Great little app that works well with teams and Outlook. However in iOS, it frequently crashes after a few task adds. Hope they fixed it.

  • App Crashes On iOS devices

I’ve been a long-time user of Microsoft To Do across different platforms, and while it works flawlessly on Android and Windows, the iOS version has become nearly unusable due to a major issue. After launching the app on my iPhone, it crashes within 1–2 minutes, abruptly closing and returning me to the main menu/home screen. Worse, this crash seems to cause temporary instability in the overall iOS system — other apps freeze or hang briefly, and the device becomes sluggish for a few seconds after the crash. This goes beyond a minor bug and feels like it’s affecting the core performance of iOS itself. In contrast, the app performs smoothly on Android and Windows, syncing tasks as expected and delivering the productivity support I rely on. The cross-platform experience would be great if not for the iOS-specific issues. I hope Microsoft addresses this bug soon, as it significantly impacts usability for iPhone users and undermines trust in an otherwise reliable productivity tool.
  • Issues with Crashing App

Overall I love using this app - whether it’s on my desktop, phone, or iPad. But I do notice that on my iPad, it crashes a lot. I normally can’t use it for more than 1 minute before it closes itself. That is my only issue with it!

I still miss sunrise, but for the austerity. This has all the functionality with the most ease. Love the drag and drop of list items. Love the my day feature, though it had to grow on me. Nothing else literally makes my brain happy- while also keeping me organized and look like i remembered everything. Greatful for this app

I have enjoyed this app up until today. I opened it to add something to a list and all of my lists are gone. Completely. Way to go, Microsoft.

Used this app for many years but unfortunately with time it got very slow. Loading tasks takes a while, mobile isn’t always in sync with the desktop which is quite inconvenient.
  • Overly complicated. Unintuitive. Buggy. Unable to join shared list, horrible!
