  • It’s decent

Everything in the app works fine, I did get an ad on a YT video though, so I’m still not entirely sure. The browser is slow, but that’s to be expected. It’s good for privacy, but it just doesn’t have enough features that would really want to make me use it above the browser I’m currently using. Still, I’ll use this occasionally and it works fine.
  • I’m giving it three because it won’t stop asking me to rate

That’s what happens when you don’t naturally let me rate it

I was looking for a private browser and wow where you can go is scary. In my ignorance I stumbled onto drug links hit man links and even r*** links. I do not think anyone should dive deeper into this app. Very very disturbing things indeed and way to easy to go places you don’t want to.
  • Confusing VPN interface

Fantastic app, only confusing part is that when you use your own vpn, it makes it look like you’re using their vpn. Not a huge issue but it can be confusing when trying to troubleshoot.
  • Needs more warnings and age checks.

I was not expecting to run into such disturbing websites, I was just looking for a decent vpn and accidentally ran into pure dark web.

  • Commercial app that misleads users into believing it’s official Tor software

Not affiliated with The Tor Project. Commercial app that misleads users into believing it’s official Tor software. No proof of Tor relay integrity, unknown logging policy. For real Tor access, download Onion Browser by Mike Tigas — the only iOS app recommended by Tor Project themselves. exploits buzzwords like “Onion” and “Tor” to trick people into using unsafe, unaudited, often log-heavy, privacy-wrecking clones. OrNET uses aggressive scare-tactic marketing…red flag generic, vague, fear-based, and non-actionable textbook signs of “user-engagement farming” not real-time security defense. Serious VPNs don’t do this, no need to scare you — their credibility, features, and transparency sell themselves…. OrNET also does not publish independent audits, transparent privacy policies, or detailed security practices that serious privacy VPNs do. No searchable public “no-logs” audit. No third-party verifications. Do yourself a favor and use ProtonVPN, Mullvad, IVPN, etc any of those that undergo actual independent security audits and clearly outline ownership, jurisdiction, and no-log compliance. OrNET does not clearly disclose company ownership, jurisdiction, or corporate accountability, meaning if the US govt or any other jurisdiction demands logs, you have no clue how they’d respond. Legit VPNs like Mullvad or ProtonVPN (this is the one I use) have clear legal protections favoring users. There’s no track record of OrNET standing up to court orders, privacy invasions, or security tests publicly. Seems like they rat to cops when asked. Do you research . Do not trust security claims from apps like this. Stay sharp.
