    I have been unable to post the things I want to post because the Grammarly app gets in the way and I can’t see what’s going on or if it’s even been posted. I’m going to have to delete the app so I can go back to a normal post. That’s too bad

  • Useful but Laggy and Inconsistent on Mobile

    I appreciate the concept and features Grammarly offers, especially for on-the-go editing. However, the mobile keyboard experience falls short. The app often lags when typing, edits are delayed, and it frequently fails to catch even basic grammar or spelling errors. At times, it reports no issues when there are some. I’ve found it less reliable than expected, especially compared to the desktop version. I hope future updates improve responsiveness and accuracy on mobile devices using the keyboards.

    I’ve done a lot of writing and Grammarly directly and using the plug-in. I’ve grown to dislike it. I found it to be ridiculously intrusive on just simply trying to write into any particular app. There are also a number of major hiccups. Frequently when I create a note and try to main screen, I got a message to dismiss changes or dismiss notification, the ladder puts you back into the note without being able to get back to the main menu former forces you to leave the note possibly losing all the content you’ve created. So I have to select all and copy the text, and then dismiss the changes, go out to the main menu, come back in and the content. Frequently I would’ve lost significant amounts of content. Also I often voice record content into Grammarly when you’re on the road and recording your thoughts and not able to type. However, occasionally when I turn off the recording Grammarly starts backing up and deleting everything that I just wrote. What a pain in the butt. Also, I’ve reported this to Grammarly, but it’s really frustrating to try and correct a document when 300 recommended changes and it takes multiple clicks for each one. There should be a much faster process for app changes, including and accept all button. There are lots of great features to Grammarly, but it’s also a frustrating app to use for a writer. I’m currently looking for something new.

    I have utilized this application for three years and have subscribed to the full paid version for all my email and text messaging needs. Occasionally, I encounter difficulties in articulating coherent and valid points. However, Grammarly effectively addresses these challenges for me. Like this review!

    It says that when I have an error and I click the logo on the keyboard it says no more suggestions. This is dumb!
