Useful, but limited

My device had a QR code with the app symbol, and statement
“Scan with the Tranparency App” (took me a few mins to realize they meant a specific app).
Downloaded the app, scanned the code, which came up with useful info not included in the user guide!
Seems to be useful to verify authenticity of products enrolled with the app. I’ll keep it in case I run across the app symbol again; low probability, though.
Saturates camera brightness

Saturates camera brightness to the point where you need to go somewhere neither too bright nor too dark to scan the damned QR codes. Absurd, like they don’t use their own damned app.
Overexposed camera settings

The camera isn’t adjusting to light correctly and just shows a very bright image. Because of this, it won’t properly scan QR codes.
Blurry picture

After I got the app I thought “cool, I can see more information about this screen protector from ZAGG. What the app gave me was not any information because it made my iPhone 16 Pro really need either a pair of glasses or a new lens for its eyeball I could barely make out the Transparency QR code I took a screenshot of it and I also took a picture of the QR code to make sure it wasn’t my camera lens (to be honest I kinda dropped my phone a couple of times (totally on accident)) well, after taking a regular pictures of the Transparency QR code (my phone must’ve borrowed Mr. Peanut’s monocle for this picture, because it was crystal clear) I sent a message to Transparency about it being a blurry picture (I don’t think they actually read what I sent them) they sent me instructions like I didn’t know what I was doing (now, I am a 54yo m so, I have been around the block a few times as far as installing and using apps on my phone) next I want to send them the picture I took of their QR code AND I want to send them the screenshot I took (I don’t know what happened to that borrowed monocle (Mr. Peanut must’ve taken it back) like I mentioned when I started this rambling, the QR code is so blurry. I really wanted to post those pictures here too (we’ll see)
Scanning issue

When I try to use the app picture shows up too bright and doesn’t allow me to scan anything. I have other barcode scanning apps and they work fine so it’s not my phone. I have a iPhone 16 pro max. Help if possible
Struggling To Find The Purpose?!

I was encouraged to download this app by an Amazon seller for what I assumed was product warranty registration. Other than providing me the original product description information that was on Amazon, it gave me nothing. So, with that being said, I still see no useful purpose for this app. 🤷🏽♀️
Doesn’t work

This app is pure sht, it’s worthless! Network problems and the camera never focuses to scan a QR code.
HUGE waste of time. Amazon can afford to do better!
Worthless, don’t waste your time.

No camera controls. Everything is too bright and washed out. No way to focus. Doesn’t scan anything with the Transparency App logo. Don’t bother downloading you’ll just be deleting it.

Tried to use the app this morning using a recent (not brand new) iPhone. Doesn’t work. At all.
