Used to be much smoother. On top of the occasional freeze it now forces you to endure watching an ad every minute or so. Go back to the old you

This is by far the best food/nutrient tracker. It has made navigating perimenopause protein and fiber needs so easy. At last something that works. I’m using the free version which has everything I need, but I am seriously considering the paid version.

  • Great Functional App, a few Bugs

This app is great to track calories and has a lot of functionality for the free version. The only nitpicks I have is that sometimes calories burnt for activities are sometimes double counted (if I’m connected to both Apple Health and Suunto for example), and then I need to manually delete the extra copy of each activity every day. There is also sometimes this bug that will make me log back in again and buffer until timeout if I’m connected to WiFi, but is fixed when I go on cellular. Not sure why. Regardless, this is one of the better calorie tracking apps out there, and I really appreciate how much data insights you can see.

All the features you’d want in a calorie tracking app. Free and minimal ads. Bar code scanner is included in free app unlike fitness pal

I used a lot of the competing products, but once I had this set up with my own custom foods, the others couldn’t hold a candle to this one. I highly suggest using this to manage your food intake based upon macros.

Like the layout and the database seems robust but after signing up for premium it continues to prompt me to sign up for premium and have to restore purchase every single time I open the app. When communicating with their support I just get told something to the effect of it’s trying to use your other Gmail account associated with the app. I don’t have another Gmail account.

I’ve been using this app for about three weeks now. I haven’t had a chance to use all the features yet but from what I’ve used so far, I can tell this is a quality. I like the ability to track foods, save foods as favorites, and for foods or supplements that I know I will take every day I like that I can set it as recurring. I also like that you can track progress for specific health related items. For example, you can see how the food you’re currently eating for the day benefits your metabolism. Or how close you are to reaching your calcium intake for the day. Not just calories or fat like other simple apps out there. I previously used MyFitnessPal, but they started charging excessively for just simple features so I stopped using it. In fact, I hadn’t used any tracker for some time until I found this one. The only wishlist I have for this app so far is that it would give a total calories for each meal (i.e. Breakfast total calories) at a quick glimpse versus having to add each food. So far an excellent app and has been great keeping me focused
