Its not about Strokes Gained as much as it’s about reducing Strokes Lost. DECADE FOUNDATIONS SUBSCRIPTION Since launching the DECADE App three years ago we have learned many things, not the least of which is that it can quickly make virtually anyone a much better player, and it’s a lot for younger or less experienced players to consume. The Elite version of the DECADE App was designed to replace the live DECADE Seminar which is over four hours long and intended for elite players. We did not anticipate all the interest it would generate with junior golfers and mid-handicap players. I guess we should have. With that in mind we have created DECADE Foundations to replace our Lite product to better serve that audience. Junior will drastically slow down the avalanche of information within the App. This will more appropriately match the Golf IQ of our subscribers. Over the course of six months the content within the App will walk a player through the basics of course management and mindset slowly morphing into the Elite version of strategy over time. The statistics portal will also start slow and build into a robust and easy to use portal DECADE ELITE SUBSCRIPTION required for GPS Stats Entry, Peer Strokes Gained Comparison and Custom Tailored Yardage Books. **DECADE account required to access content 6 Month DECADE Foundations Subscription available through App Store for $99.99 which is charged to your iTunes account upon purchase. The subscription auto-renews unless turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current 6 month period. You can manage your payment details or cancel your membership in user's Account Settings. Terms of Use: https://www.birdiefire.com/terms Privacy Policy: https://www.birdiefire.com/privacy

  • Taking my game to the next level

I started playing in my late 20s, 43 now, so I had no clue about course management as I never played on a team or anything just with friends and the occasional tournament. Getting down to a single digit handicap I hit a plateau of improvement. I did find some info on course management which helped but until I found decade I did not have the tools to really understand and implement course management. Understanding decade strategies and relying on them has really helped me play my best and removed a lot of the stress and frustration as well as understand what I need to work on and how to do so to really shave strokes off my game. I am now a 5 handicap and really feel that I can reach my goal of dropping to a 2 handicap or better by the end of this 2025 season. Excited to see the progress and learn from each mistake along the way. Knowing how to properly select the proper target and being committed to your decision is key to this game, and decade provides you with the knowledge and tools to do so. No matter what level you are playing at now, decade will help you, if you commit to it, period.

What a waste of money! Haven’t been able to download and print a yardage book for a month now. Garbage!
  • Horrible App

This app is atrocious. For how much money we spend for a membership, the lack of effort put into this app is genuinely embarrassing. The interface is something out of windows 98 and there are bugs everywhere leading to constantly closing the app to fix them. As far as content, most of the videos are low quality or just a black screen with the Decade logo. Overall disappointing content for the price. I expected HQ videos and user friendly interface for $250 but it falls drastically short. Will edit once next season starts and can attempt to see if the system works.
  • User interface is remarkably bad.

Whew. Unusable. Typos, glitches, double negatives. No good even if it was free.
  • Great program

The app is so embarrassingly bad. My team and I struggle to enter rounds without constant crashing and lock ups. Back end management is scattered and disorganized. Also, as a coach, I have to download and use THREE separate apps to effectively use all functions. Scott’s approach to the game is totally effective but the app makes it cumbersome. If the app is difficult to use my players don’t want use it. If they don’t want to use it then what’s the point? Also, why can’t I delete or modify my player’s rounds? IE sometimes they enter a practice round as a tournament round. It happens. But once it’s in I can’t edit it and they haven’t figured out how they can either (see above about the app being cumbersome). Could be so good but it’s just not right now. If there isn’t a massive update and convergence of three apps into one, we’ll be looking elsewhere for next season. I pray it gets fixed. I’d be glad to beta test it as well.

I’ve been playing golf for 40 years and was already pretty good at course management. But the content has provided more knowledge and refinement. I highly recommend this app.
