    I have a love/like relationship with the Nanit. Love the many features it provides for the parent and and as mom who is away at night due to work I truly love how I can spy on my child. One of the best features IMO. One star off for always having to reboot the camera because it stops recording the history? Not sure if other people have the same issue but it seems every other day or sometimes every day I need to reboot in order to get a video history recording. Otherwise my husband and I enjoy the Nanit.

    Struggling to have faith in the Nanit. Seems more frequently the connection is lost or when my baby cries I go to see the footage and it says video unavailable. This makes me uncomfortable, because it happens so much when the baby wakes or bumps their head that if there was a true emergency you wouldn’t have any idea what happened because the camera stopped recording . This is the whole point of investing in a camera that constantly runs footage… I’ve troubleshooted with removing the camera and unplugging it, made sure we have full wifi , but nothing seems to make a difference in the overall performance . The second baby we will go ahead with another brand . For overall cost you should have a consistent reliable camera .

    App is constantly crashing. Constantly. The camera is constantly crashing. My daughter goes to sleep with the white noise and night light on. When the camera crashes at 2 in the morning and her noise and light shut off side to she wakes up. Honestly it is causing more problems than it is solving. If you’re going to pay this much for a camera system it has better still work after one year.
