    Love all your coverages and so many, many wonderful writers! It would be wonderful to block some subscribers in the “Comments” section. There are people who habitually violate the Comments Rules and, though flagged, continue to engage in abusive comments, harassment, bullying and personal attacks .

    I really love the Athletic. However, the decision to back away from coverage of the Wisconsin Badgers and the lack of coverage of the Milwaukee Brewers is a major blemish on decision making.

    The Athletic used to be provide great local reporting and daily sports coverage. Then The NY Times bought it, fired half the beat writers, and left us with just another ESPN.com. As local news outlets are bought up or just put out of business by corporatized media, there is nowhere left to turn for good local coverage of anything, including sports. The Athletic used to have great sports coverage. Now it’s just a carbon copy of the clickbait-driven, quick hit pieces of ESPN.com and National news stories written by the same 3 or 4 reporters standing on the sidelines of nationally televised sports broadcasts.

    I used to love the athletic until The NY Times bought it. Since that time, we lost Brewer and Wisconsin Badger local coverage in favor of meaningless lists. I tried to cancel my subscription on the app, but you can’t. It’s too bad, people do cheer for teams outside of big cities.

    Does not matter the strength of my cellular or WiFi connection. For months, every single article shows about 10% of the text before being cut off to a black screen. Updating/refreshing the app, turning the phone on/off, (and any other airheaded advice the athletic support monkeys recommend) does not work
