⭐ 1 Star – A Greedy, Frustrating Money Pit Disguised as a Game I don’t usually leave reviews, but this one needs to be said. Empires & Puzzles is one of the most frustrating, money-hungry games I’ve ever played. The developers constantly shove in-app purchases in your face. “Buy this!” “Buy that!” – it’s non-stop harassment. And when you finally cave and pay real money for a chance at a legendary 5-star hero? You get a 3-star common hero like it’s some kind of joke. It’s borderline scam behavior. The so-called “odds” they list are a joke. You’re lured into spending again and again, hoping the next pull will be the one — but it rarely, if ever, is. It’s like a casino, but with worse customer service and no payout. The matchmaking system in raids is broken on purpose. You’re constantly forced into battles with players who are way stronger than you — and it’s not by accident. It’s a tactic to frustrate you into spending more just to keep up. “Free to play”? Sure… if you’re okay with losing constantly and making zero progress. And let’s talk about the rating in the App Store: 4.7 stars? That’s laughable. There is no way that rating reflects how players actually feel. Look at the comments — people are fed up. The only way I can make sense of it is if this company is paying to push up its rating or flood it with fake 5-star reviews. Because based on the amount of money they expect you to spend for nothing, that rating is pure baloney. What’s worse is the developers don’t seem to care. Players are screaming about the same problems over and over, and nothing ever changes. Why? Because they care more about draining your wallet than delivering a good game. If you’re considering downloading this game, don’t. Save yourself the time, frustration, and money. Until the developers stop treating their players like walking ATMs, this game gets a hard 1 star from me — and that’s being generous

PLEASE get rid of the uncloseable ads. I have to completely reboot my ipad to close it and get back to the game. It’s SOO annoying. How hard can it be to not allow ads unless they are easily closeable?? It started with ads that you had to try three to four times to close, and now it has become ads with NO X on the screen to allow them to be closed at all. You have to reboot your entire device to close them. Frankly, this is why I stopped playing Words With Friends years ago. I used to play it every day, then they started having uncloseable ads, so I just deleted the entire app, which I am about to do to this game, if you guys can’t prevent uncloseable ads. Game is otherwise great and i will increase my rating when you fix this.

It’s definitely fun filled. Keep you entertained. No havening to watch adds all day to do anything. Adds just get you extras on the game. Don’t have to spends tons of money or any money for that matter. Lots on this game to do, never stops building somewhere or doing something, tournaments constantly to keep you entertained. My kids love it as well and are always playing on it when I’m not lol.

Such a departure from the fantasy game concept. No point. Let’s get back on track.

The game is mostly a money grab, but the free play can be fun. The WWE special event needs to get out of my face. It’s gross, I HATE it. Manties isn’t what I want to see when I want to play a fun game that’s very loosely based on D&D creatures.

Here’s the real story. Leveling up a five star person all the way just takes too long. That hero, once leveled, gets one shot in a war because “game balancing” has made some hero’s just too powerful. older players need a new chase hero, but that really hurts newer players as the new chase hero is just so much better than even hero’s released a few years ago. Dragon area is totally useless as a feature other than a strange cash grab that doesn’t land. Building up your base is also a joke.. why does it take a month to go from level 9 to level 10 Game doesn’t have any glitches or bugs that I’ve seen . You can play as a free player, so it’s not totally a pay to win, but it’s a pretty good bet that top players are paying $100s a month to get there.

Non-stop pop-ups and it’s a definitely pay to win game.

I’ve had this game for years ever since they came out with it. Lost my other device and just getting it back into my account two years ago. I’ve never had a issue getting stronger they give you all the tools you need in the game. You don’t have to use money if you don’t want to it’s up to you. If you don’t mind being patient and love games, then you’ll like this one.

Fun and addictive game especially if ya like fantasy and to earn cash is def a plus!!
