I do enjoy this game. I wish that we had more ability to choose which heroes we get instead of it being shuffled, and by chance.

While there are some fun aspects to the game and Alliance camaraderie is always nice , this game has a major overarching flaw that makes the raids and wars completely silly and sisphysian. The card rating system for power , used for raid batching and war matching , only adds together cards base stats. There is no valuation for skills and special attributes. The developers apparently can only work with basic math and cannot write algorithms for valuing skills and attributes. So you face opponents and cards three to four times more powerful but the game says you are an even match. This basically creates a fodder system for the payers. There is also no regulation of hacking , tickets turned in for hack play just go in a waste bin. Other features of the game are fun if you like farming up your kingdom, etc, but if you relish good fair PvP this is not a system you want to invest time or money in.

That 4.7 rating is a lie, it’s been a suspiciously steady 4.7 for years because it’s probably bought by bots. Also notice their most “helpful” and pinned reviews are 2-4 years old. The developers are greedy and don’t care about players except whales, and have turned what started as a good game into brainrot overconsumption and dopamine chasing. Empires & Puzzles exploit casino-style gambling psychology by dangling random hero summons behind paywalls, turning patient grinding into frantic spending sprees fueled by the addictive thrill of “just one more pull” that preys on dopamine-driven impulsivity. This predatory design prioritizes short-term profits over player wellbeing, trapping vulnerable users—especially younger or competitive ones—in endless debt cycles and emotional crashes when rare drops never materialize, all while masking exploitation as “fun progression.” Ethically bankrupt, it normalizes financial risk as entertainment, eroding self-control and trust in gaming as a harmless pastime.
