    0. Missed calls need to show in the chat window. People no longer see when somebody called! It’s a huge issue. Skype used to show when somebody called and when the call ended. And also missed calls in the chat window. So for example one would see three call attempts. Now people look in chat window and don’t even notice somebody called when their phone was on silence. 1. Shows only 10 pins, some prior pins disappeared. Now when trying to add a pin, it says cannot add more than 15 pins but only 10 show in the list. Broken. The 1-1 conversations with people disappeared from the pins too! They do not ever come back when adding 2. Reply to only works in certain group chats. In several direct 1-1 chats with people, reply is completely missing 3. Sometimes emojis show as a text Image instead 4. Need some way to group chats, ideally with folders one can label 5. Editing a message needs to be inline like Skype used to have so one can still see the other messages when editing. Message editor is full screen right now which is bad. 6. Forwarding a message needs to show who sent the original message and be clickable to jump to the original chat: right now it’s just copying the text as if I had written it. Very confusing! 7. On PC or Mac, dragging files is super annoying. If there is a previous file with same name the only way to send a file is to overwrite the old file but then the old file also gets overwritten so if somebody downloads from the old message it now downloads the new version. Messed up. Each file needs to be separate. It also slows down sending something as now one has to click through a dialogue then press send. In Skype one could just drag a file and immediately sends!

    If I could give this zero stars, I would. I do not like this app at all. Skype was perfect for my needs and this app in no way replaces the functionality of Skype. I used to have an international number I paid for so I could communicate with family abroad. It was also the only affordable way to communicate with my elderly mother who only had an old fashioned landline. I was also able to take care of all her needs and appointments. Now, I am cut off. Teams does not replace this. Hello Microsoft, not everyone in the world is connected to Internet or had a smartphone. Even if my family were connected, the app is still horrible and very user UNfriendly, like needing invites. I hate Teams and I am very unhappy with this so-called replacement for Skype.

    I don’t like when it saying like Skype. Skype had so smooth photo sharing way and play video. But it takes forever and not looks good as it was. Also there is no way to call any telephone or mobile number as it was. I had so many phone number contacts and Skype allowed me to call them free in mobile number. And this was for Apple support, Adobe support. So annoying. We had a business group and we decided to move slack.

    It’s 2 stars because it’s so slow and I don’t receive the messages at all. My friend texted me and I got the notification but when I pressed on it to see her message isn’t there and is loading a lot. The messages are always delayed and the quality is terrible.

    The app stopped letting me join calls. It demands local network access. No thanks, Microsoft, you have no business snooping on my local network. Such overreach.

    Skype has a lot of great functionality that just worked. So microsoft kills it and forces everyone to switch to this, but when i try to log into my microsoft account it just says i don't have any invite, and kicks me back to login screen. It worked on pc and imported contacts and chat history, but the mobile version just doesn't even work at all. Microsoft only ever makes everything worse anymore. Anti-consumer nightmare company pushing with all its money for the Orwellian tech-dystopia that nobody wants. When you build without integrity, everything you build will fall apart every time. STILL CAN'T ACCESS MY OLD SKYPE ACCOUNT IN TEAMS MOBILE!!! ONLY EVER SAYS "NO INVITE!" Meanwhile the skype app says needs update but it's been delisted from app store... so, as usual microsoft is always only ever absolute garbage. Someone should sue them for buying skype, then killing it and forcing its users to switch to teams. Such despicable anti-trust behavior, not to mention messing with people by holding their data hostage while saying to migrate, but NOT EVEN ALLOWING PEOPLE TO MIGRATE ON TEAMS MOBILE!!!

  • Unable to see message glitch

    The app is amazing and it’s a big upgrade from skype, but now whenever someone texts me I can’t see it. It shows the timestamp but not the message. This isn’t because they deleted it or my notifications aren’t on, but instead it’s probably a glitch of some sort and an annoying one. Thank you for reading.
