Description

TAKE THE SCENIC ROUTE - Plan, ride, track and share your adventures with the #1 rated motorbike navigation app. 200,000 public routes, 20 million hours ridden, 130 million miles logged.
GET THERE YOUR WAY - We’ve built a world for motorcyclists, helping you find the best routes with the twistiest turns, for paved touring and unpaved adventures. It’s not the destination that counts. It’s the journey. FIND THE ROAD - Straight, curvy, paved, dirty - Scenic lets you control your route like no other app. And with thousands of public routes to choose from, there's always road to ride. TAKE CONTROL - Plan routes by dropping via points and stops. Scenic will show you a route between them. Don't like it? Choose another routing mode, including curvy. UNLOCK EPIC RIDES - Scenic has a vast database of thousands of beautiful routes, shared and rated by local Scenic users worldwide. Select an area, tap 'Search', and see what comes up.
GO EXPLORING - Yet another way to get a great route... set the distance, then let Scenic generate a round trip for you in any given direction. Or a curvy route to a destination of your choosing. GET ORGANISED - Found a great route online? Have some lying around in Basecamp? Whether it’s a Google Maps URL or a GPX, KML, KMZ, GDB, or ITN file, import it into Scenic to keep all your routes in one app that’s built for adventure. FIND FOCUS - On-screen instructions, turn-by-turn navigation, and customizable detour behavior mean you can focus on the road, not your phone. When you do need to tap in, Scenic is designed to work seamlessly with your touch-enabled gloves, or one of the supported handlebar controllers. CHOOSE YOUR VIEW - Customize your map, toggling between built-in layers like traffic flow, safety camera alerts, and 3D buildings, as well as a huge list of POIs, including fuel and EV charging stations, motorcycle services, restaurants, hotels, and more! ONE STEP AHEAD - Dirt road visualization, elevation profiles, speed camera warnings, and traffic visualized on the map keep you prepared for what’s around the corner. GO OFF GRID - No data/reception? No problem. Scenic’s offline maps mean you can go where others turn back.
KNOW YOUR RIDE - Scenic not only navigates you, it also logs your location, speed, and elevation - helping you relive every moment, track your progress, and challenge your friends. SHARE THE ADVENTURE - Leave pictures and comments for other riders in the app, get a personalized web page of your routes and rides, or share your journey straight to social media.

CHOOSE YOUR VIEW - Personalize your map, seamlessly switching between visual layers like traffic flow and street view. Choose your own color codes to quickly identify and distinguish routes and a wide range of POIs, including fuel and EV charging stations, motorcycle service points, restaurants, hotels, and much more. * Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. ** Scenic has an optional yearly Premium Subscription with a free trial period, that gives you access to Premium Features (see scenic.app/premium for details). The subscription automatically renews after the free trial period, and then every year. The first payment will be charged to your App Store Account at the end of your trial period. It automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of each period. Subscriptions may be managed by you, and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings in the Apple App Store. • Worst navigation in navigation app I have ever seen

The navigation in this app is abominable. Totally unintuitive. None of the tutorials seem to match the app interface.

Folder on planned route keeps flipping back to favorites. Frustrating. Also having trouble planning route and on the freeway the app randomly takes off-ramps not needed

Have had problems from when I purchased the app. Repeated log in failures asking for email verification, yet the app doesn’t send a verification email. When I first purchased the app it took a full day to receive the verification email, after finally receiving it, I was able to log in and planned a route for a trip. I tried to open the app and route to edit for a stop and now can’t access because I need to verify my email again. I’ve spent no less than 30 minutes trying to get another verification email with no luck so far.
  • v4 is on it's way

v4 of Scenic is on it's way to being the best at smartphone Navigation. Some of the more advanced features are taking a bit to reappear after the v3.5 Map providers absurd price increases forced the developer to move back to better OSM Maps. Scenic will be a 5 Star App for most users.
  • How good

I tried many apps and Scenic is far better. Easy to use, after creating routes on my iPad or iPhone I can use it or transfer to my Zumo if needed. Even if they had a few issues after the change in map provider, Guido put back all as it was. As for support, it is top notch if needed.
  • One of the best ride tacking apps I’ve used!

I’ve used and subscribed to many app over the years, including all the top ones that come to mind, but Scenic is the only one that I keep on using. Great UI that is easy to operate during rides and I love the app’s configurability, especially the ability to configure custom buttons to Apple Shortcuts. The maps are updated frequently and work well when offline (even in northern Georgia backwoods). Also has one of the better in-app planning modes.

    Very hard to use
  • Not perfect, but decent All-a-Rounder!

Happy with the app (mostly). Wish there were fewer “disconnects” where the turn by turn direction doesn’t keep up, or just randomly decides to draw a line elsewhere entirely (barely happens though). Also, the power planner could use some work. The app will CONSTANTLY generate a new pathing while placing/selecting points. Frustrating… Other than the above, this app has potential. So far though, Google or Apple Maps outperforms (in some cases). Good job Devs/Team, keep pushing!

I was looking for a motorcycle navigation app that also supported Apple CarPlay since I am about to start using a Carpuride system for my navigation. I am an experienced Rever user, but unfortunately, it has some CarPlay issues and also limits on how much map data you can download for offline use. After looking at quite a few alternatives, I have settled on Scenic and am very happy with it. For starters, it is obviously designed by a motorcyclist, as it has a ton of features that make it easy to use. Don’t get me wrong, like any new capable app, there is a learning curve, but after a few days, it becomes easy to use. While I mostly do planning on a computer, I found that it is also pretty easy to plan on my iPhone due to the feature set provided. I also really like that it’s easy to pick and download map files for offline use. You are able to select by state or country, you don’t have to do repeated selections over the map and download multiple times to get a whole state like some other apps. The interface during the ride is well thought out and easy to use because of the large buttons provided, including two buttons that you can program yourself (using Apple Shortcuts) to perform just about any shortcut you can think of. The other part that works very well is the synchronization between the desktop app and the mobile app works very well and is almost instantaneous. Overall I am very happy with this app and will happily pay the annual fee to use it.
