  • Large orders don’t track! Scammed out of $1,000 in rewards

    I completed a $4,000+ order during Black Friday with a 30% offer through this app. Based on my purchase total, I should have received the max amount of rewards at $1,000 that was promised. None of the items I bought were excluded in the terms and I didn’t use any other rewards program. I reached out to customer support and even sent screenshots of the purchase I made within the Capital One Shopping app. Their customer support said I didn’t earn any rewards because I used another rewards program. But I didn’t and that’s impossible to do while shopping through the Capital One Shopping app! They gave me a significantly smaller “courtesy credit” than the $1,000 that I was supposed to receive. This is a bait and switch tactic and a shady way for them to get customers to spend lots of money so they earn commission. Don’t get scammed into making a large purchase through them like I did. I was a big fan of this app and I’ve used many similar programs so I’m familiar with the mechanics of affiliate tracking. But after this experience, I’ve lost trust in this app and service and am very dissatisfied by their resolution given the fact I provided proof I didn’t violate any terms that would make my purchase ineligible. I would stay away!
