The devs do at least slowly improve the client but one still glaring flaw is that the Reddit app uses its own interface to my photos instead of accessing the iOS API. So (as an example) I can’t search for a photo instead my albums.
  • Facebook but not personal

It’s like Facebook, which is a simplicity that only comes with generations of perfecting the message board vibe into an art form. I love it because it’s so much less personal than Facebook but very social and easy to connect with others.
  • Ads too frequent

Every other post does not need to be an ad. In fact literally none of them do. This was a functioning platform without that, adding ads is like saying “ya know, herpes might be fun” Less New: for whatever reason if you scroll for like ~30 min my phone just goes more/less unresponsive until the app is forced closed. Way to make it even worse. Still won’t let me give it 0 stars which is lame Newest: stop asking me to join some random subreddit. We don’t do that. If I wanted to after presented a link I will. You asking me to is giving creepy guy at the bar vibes
  • Barcelo maya colonial en rivera maya

This has been by far our worst vacation experience — and what makes it even more painful is that we’ve stayed at this very same hotel before and loved it. Sadly, things have changed dramatically, and not for the better. From the moment we arrived at Barceló Maya Colonial, we noticed the difference. The room was dirty, with cobwebs in the corners and a strong, musty smell of humidity that made it hard to breathe. Both of my elderly parents got sick due to allergic reactions triggered by the poor room conditions. The food is another disaster — there’s barely any variety. It’s mostly chicken, day after day. Very little fish, no red meat options like beef or lamb, and as for lobster? We haven’t even seen a picture of one. This is supposed to be an all-inclusive resort, yet it feels more like a low-budget cafeteria. The staff, in general, behave as if they work in a prison — no smiles, no warmth, no hospitality. It’s like they’ve been trained not to engage with guests. The service is slow, cold, and unprofessional. The drinks? Absolutely terrible. Weak, watery, and poorly prepared. Even room service was a joke. We ordered at 1:45 PM, were told it would take an hour. At 3:05, we were told it was “on the way.” At 3:45, we called again — same response. The food never came. The seafood restaurant was incredibly slow, and when we finally tried to confirm a teppanyaki-style dinner reservation, we were told our booking was for regular seating only — no one ever explained that. It felt like a bait-and-switch. The final insult was the showerhead falling off and hitting my husband on the head. This hotel is falling apart — literally. Changing our wristbands was supposed to improve our experience, but it was nothing but a meaningless gesture. If I could give this place a rating of minus one, I would — for service, food, treatment, and hospitality. Avoid this place. It is no longer what it once was.

  • Reddit hates IOS

I’m not sure why Reddit app developers hate iPhones but they really do. I was an android user forever like nearly 20 years and I switch to iPhone and to say the user experience of the Reddit app on iPhone is bad would be the understatement of the century. The keyboard crashes constantly your missing whole features like quoting the menu structure is wonky like the option to edit is right next to collapse and constantly gets pressed all the time . Sometimes the app just closes no reason watching a video and boom shuts down. Like I did idk why Reddit is taking out their frustrations on this app but they are.
