    This truly is an incredible app for using the internet while protecting you and your device with a number of security features as well as blocking ads, popups and cookies. The add-on extension for Safari is a must! I really didn’t want to fully switch from Safari to Firefox Focus, as it would’ve been a brand new app, browser, search engine and UI to me but was willing to do so for all of the privacy, security and ad blocking features but much to my surprise and delight they were one step ahead of me by adding an add-on extension that can be paired with Safari providing me with the features included in Firefox Focus without having to abandon the browser I’m already accustomed to and have so much set up with. 10/10 incredible app that genuinely is a must-have for anyone and everyone.

    If you visit Hotlink’s page to see their different prepaid plan offerings, the browser doesn’t swipe thru them. You won’t be able to swipe to see their different plan offerings on their page.

    I love this browser for those quick searches you want to do but don’t want every ad network in the world to track in your history. However, Arc has since replaced it for me with its ability to AI summarize results and have reasonable tabs. Also, FFF really needs to allow more than 4 bookmarks on the main screen.

  • Suddenly Buggy and Updated Quasi-Solution

    Substitutes letter a for s. I have that substitution in my iOS keyboard settings, but Firefox Focus does not give one the option to continue with “s” as all other apps do, rendering it useless. Strangely, I had been using Firefox Focus for months without this surfacing. It undermines one’s confidence. I have deleted the app and associated files, along with Firefox. I hope, this and a reinstall will remove the anomaly and allow me to continue using the app. Will advise. Perhaps, the causation was cosmic rays? Along with “it’s a feature not a bug”, we used this excuse most often to avoid saying the cause was our own faulty programming. Not saying, mind you, that this behaviour was caused by faulty programming; just saying, that’s what We used to say, tongue in cheek. Update: I had to delete the text substitution, a for s, for Firefox Focus to work without losing every ‘s’ I typed. A pity, as I often hit a standalone ‘s’ rather than a standalone ‘a’, and thus will need to seek out and switch my ‘s for a’ typos after writing. Annoying.
