I’ve had this app for a long time. It’s been in an update status for a while. Like days. I’ve tried to delete and redownload the app to no affect.

I’ve used Day One for three years. I’ve tried other apps, and can’t find one that has a calendar, Media, PDF, and location view. wish there was some AI upgrades, and also wish there were better export options than just PDF CSV and JSON. Overall, Day One is a reliable notes tool with cool prompts, excellent search and and organization features (books, tags, pins, favorites). i’ll keep using Day One unless say better AI enabled option appears

I have been a journaler for years, but I noticed I was writing a lot less or very often trying to “catch up” because I just didn’t have time or privacy to write. I found Day One about two years ago and absolutely LOVE it!!! It’s so much faster to type and I journal more now than ever before! I can take time to work through feelings about something or brainstorm a problem, which I wouldn’t have done on paper. I’ve created an add’l journal for my family and copy all of our travel entries over to that. My husband will then have this, along with the pictures, if anything ever happens to me. (Everything else will be “burned”)! :)

Day One Journal is one of the best gifts I have ever given myself. I had been journaling digitally for more than a decade, and when I downloaded the Day One app, I transferred 10 years worth of musing and memories and to have those pop up on this date in previous years has given me tremendous insight and reflection. I’ve been recommending this app to everyone. I know who keeps a journal.

I have the premium version and I have been trying to change my cover photo for the current journal I am writing in. When I select another photo is doesn’t change and when I select preview journal the photo won’t change.

This app makes it so easy to journal! I have tried for YEARS to get into the habit of journaling and it has never stuck, until I started using Day One. I’ve been consistently journaling for over a year now and I love it!

Today is day 395. Use it daily and being nomadic it’s very helpful when we need to remember where we were at a point in time .
