  • Good idea just why do I have to pay for information that could be regarding safety of me and others?

Don’t get me wrong — the app is useful and has potential. But why am I being asked to pay a monthly fee just to access features I could get for free with a basic police scanner app? Charging people to stay informed about safety in their own neighborhoods feels off. The paid plan just isn’t worth it.
  • Incredibly comprehensive

Very detailed both in terms of catching EVERY incident and in terms of the amount of detail.
  • TRASH APP. only visible if you pay!

I’ve had this app for years, and year by year they have slowly taken away information and things you can view. It’s stupid and silly to try to monetize everything, especially critical things happening in your area. It’s honestly not worth having anymore. I’ll be looking for an alternative solution that isn’t money hungry !

I bought the subscription for $2 as a first entry, the app looked nice and as I got through it i noticed that it doesn’t show me any calls or emergencies, or anything for where I am at, only in Seattle and Oregon area, completely away from me. This app took my $2 and I can’t use it.
  • Never Reports on Nearby Incidents

I always get notifications from other states and whatnot, but never any alerts for things that happen nearby. I don’t care about what happened in California, I’m in Ohio. This is really annoying
  • No longer helpful

Used to be helpful for general awareness of what is going on, now it crashes constantly, glitches, does NOT show updates in real time, and doesn’t let me view the chat for some reason even when i was paying for a premium subscription. very frustrating.
  • This app censors users

Ever since I posted a video about ICE being present at union station in DTLA my account has been censored. I realized today when I tried commenting on an incident that lead to one of the posts being labeled as “group causing disturbance” that a familiar witnessed what the underlying reason to the escalation was. I guess freedom of speech doesn’t exist anymore as my comments were informative of the situation. If the cops didn’t want bad publicity maybe they shouldn’t have slammed the compliant community member onto the cruiser without probable cause.

I’m so confused with as to why the app charges you 5.99 a month to see offenders address when you could find it online? Other than that the app is solid considering how it’s more community based
  • Awful, Greedy, & Very One Sided Politically

This app used to be a good place to get information, but it’s completely changed…FOR THE WORST. First I want to start by saying that it’s clear that the people running it lean very far left, and are constantly pushing stories highlighting one sides beliefs, wants, etc, while giving alerts that are worded to side with one side of the political scale. Now, I don’t care where you lean political in life, but this is an app that should just be providing me with information regarding all issues from all sides evenly. I should not know where this app’s creators lean politically or only get majority of information from one side of the political spectrum. Plus they pick and choose when to turn on and off comments. Second, this app is extremely greedy. To this day they produce ads saying “find danger nearby” yet to really see anything you need to pay. Sex offenders? Sure we’ll say there’s some 10 miles away, but we won’t give you any actual information unless you pay. Third, way too often do I not only get random stories from a far away city or state, but they post a story that’s days, weeks, or even months old. I’d highly suggest to anyone thinking about downloading this app, don’t. It’s become almost completely useless.
