Description

The Debt Payoff Planner app is the simplest way to stop feeling overwhelmed and start having a specific, step-by-step plan for paying off your loans. Today is the day to make a plan with a loan calculator and beginning paying down debt. Required inputs for calculating your debt free date are the current balance of the loan, the annual percentage rate (APR), and the minimum payment amount. That's the only requirement to getting a customized debt repayment schedule. Easy steps to becoming debt free: - Enter your loans and debts - Enter your additional monthly payment budget to pay down faster - Choose a debt payoff strategy * Dave Ramsey's Debt Snowball (lowest balance first) * Debt Avalanche (highest rate first) * Debt Snowflake (one-time extra payment toward loans) * Custom debt free payoff plan Debt Payoff Planner and Loan Calculator determines the optimum payment plan and how long it will take until you will be debt free. You tell the app how much you want to budget toward paying off your debt and we'll tell you how. We recommend the Debt Snowball strategy because we believe that paying off individual accounts faster will help you stay focused on your financial goal of debt elimination. A payoff plan is only useful if you stick with it! Your ability and willingness to pay more than the minimum payments is how you will become debt free in less time than you imagined. Budgeting your income will help you to get a regular monthly amount to pay down the debt faster. The payoff chart will show two payoff scenarios: only paying the minimum amounts, and the repayment schedule when you pay more the the minimum ever month. Creating an account enables you to have a secure backup and your information is immediately available if you start using a new device. Getting out of debt is hard, so we try to allow you to take baby steps toward this goal. We believe that becoming debt free requires an easy starting point and making sure every dollar is leveraged perfectly. The loan calculator has minimal inputs in order to make your money management easy to follow. The Debt Payoff Planner and Calculator is also used for tracking payments and updating the time-frame for becoming debt-free. Inputting payment information is as simple as typing in the amount and the date the payment was made. The goal of payment tracking is to see your progress over time and affirm that you are staying focused on your financial goals. In addition to being a debt tracker and loan calculator, we are also trying to help point out some possible next steps with articles focused on how to pay off student loans, auto loans, and credit cards faster. Also, there is some tips on credit card balance transfers as well as strategies for debt consolidation. We support eight loan categories: * Credit Cards like Capital One, Citicard, Chase, etc. * Student Loans like Navient, Sallie Mae, Great Lakes, etc. * Auto/Car Loans * Medical Loans * Mortgages like Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, etc. * Personal Loans to friends and family or other individuals * Taxes like IRS or local municipalities * Other category could be anything from a paycheck loan to a hard money loan In addition to the Debt Snowball calculator and the Debt Avalanche method, many users like to do a custom sorting of their debts. This customization is available for users that want to be their own debt manager. We allow the ability to provide a Debt Snowflake payoff as well. A Debt Snowflake is a one-time payment from things like a bonus at work, a tax refund, an extra payday, etc. This additional capability allows you to have tighter control over every dollar you are budgeting. The cycle of debt has been intimidating me for many years but this app has made everything so clear and easy to understand. I finally have a visual of my finances and what I need to do to achieve my debt free goals. I was hesitant to sign up for yet another subscription, however now that I can see what it does it’s worth every penny I don’t think I would be moving forward financially without this app.

I enjoyed filling out all the details of money coming in… paying off my debt. Exciting. Paid for the subscription. When I came back to the app to actually pay off balances. No luck. Couldn’t figure it out. And I’m a savvy person. So confusing. Impossible to edit anything. I’m lost

Just like everything else in your life, you have to stay on top! Losing control of your finances can derail your life and happiness. This app can bring your finances into focus as long as you diligently keep after it and update your payments, debt, and expenses regularly. You get a countdown to when you will be debt free that you can hold on to! I’m 73 now and I wish I had had a tool like this when I was 37. Download the app. Do it. Keep after it! And share it with your friends! It’s free for the first 10 debts but annual cost is well worth it!

Very helpful for tracking and organizing!
  • Completely unrealistic payment plan…

It has me paying off one debt a month without regard to how much that debt is… in June I’m supposed to be paying off a 9k credit card and then in July I guess I’m paying off a 25k credit card? If I had that kind of money, I wouldn’t be in debt… ChatGPT came up with a way more realistic plan.

The system for tracking your email and password is off. It seems like you have to reset your password or put your password manually because your device won’t connect. I would like to see lifetime subscriptions, and a friendly interface to maintain modifications throughout the month for payments. Download this app.

I have frequently been overwhelmed with the amount of debt we have - now I can see light at the end of the tunnel. “If” I stick to this it will come to pass. It also helps me known exactly how much to pay and when to just make minimum payments. Great program!!!!
  • Too Difficult

The price monthly or yearly isn’t terrible. The app is hard to plug in numbers! I keep deleting and try re-entering my card amount and messing with the payments bc it won’t save correctly. It’s not easily editable. Needs to be restructured completely.

Love this app! I really loved how I could enjoy the app for free before deciding to purchase it for $30 a year. I think that’s an amazing price and you receive a lot of great benefits for it. I was able to adjust my earnings and schedule myself to pay off my debt in one year.
